Algeria which is officially known as the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria has a population at about 33,375,089 citizens. Arabic is the official language spoken in this country but the people that live here also speak French and Berber dialects. Islam is the state religion which falls at about ninety-nine percent as for the other one percent it’s a mixture of Christian and Jewish. Although I could not find the specific type of foods eaten in Algeria most likely the people there eat the same things we do as well as a few custom foods that have been passed down from generation to generation. Many of the people in Algeria use railroads as transportation but for a few that don’t they do use cars.
Algeria is the second largest country in Africa and it borders the Mediterranean coastline. Algiers’s is the country’s capital as well as the largest city. Algeria has little fertile land and for the most part the country is a desert. The country has four main geographic regions which extend east to west. The coastal plain and Tell Atlas in the north have a typical Mediterranean climate. This is made up of warm dry summers and mild rainy winters. During the summer an exceedingly hot, dry wind called the sirocco also known by the Algerian people as Chehili blows north from the Sahara. As you go south the climate becomes very dry. Imperialism is when a big country takes over a smaller country to gain more land and materials. The age of imperialism started in the 1870’s when European countries started making empires in Asia, Africa, and the middle east. Algeria is a small country in Africa that was taken over by France in the 1830’s. In 1847 the Algerians wanted their land back so they fought for control but the French defeated the Muslim leader Abd al-Qadir and gained control of the land. Algeria had many positive and negative effects because of imperialism that shaped its culture, society and government. (Dipiazzia 66).
For years now, the healthcare system in the United States have managed patient’s health records through paper charting, this has since changed for the better with the introduction of an electronic medical record (EMR) system. This type of system has helped healthcare providers, hospitals and other ambulatory institutions extract data from a patient’s chart to help expedite clinical diagnosis and providing necessary care. Although this form of technology shows great promise, studies have shown that this system is just a foundation to the next evolution of health technology. The transformation of EMR to electronic heath record system (EHR) is the ultimate goal of the federal government.

Over the years, healthcare facilities have acted like a storehouse for patients’ medical records, uninterested and unable to distribute clinical data to anyone beyond their organization. The EHR, started in the 1960s under the name of "computerized-based patient record" (CPR), became known as "electronic medical records" (EMR) in the 1990s and today it is known as electronic health record (EHR).The target of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is to incorporate the EHR and use it in a "meaningful" way to improve the quality, efficiency, and safety of patient care delivery; to engage patients in their personal health record; and to improve care coordination. Equally important, the "meaningful use" of the EHR system intends to build a bridge to other systems by creating an interoperability of health information while implementing quality care throughout. However, this interoperability can only be accomplished when the receiving system and the user fully understand how to apply these exchanges.

The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH Act), which was passed as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, has fostered significant progress in the adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) in various clinical settings, particularly through the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs and its focus on EHR adoption in Stage 1 Meaningful Use (CITATION gov). For instance, as a result of the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs, the percentage of office based physicians who have adopted an EHR system dramatically rose from 18.2% in 2001 to a staggering 78.4% in 2013 (CITATION phys data). Additionally, as of July 2013, 67% of hospitals achieved Stage 1 Meaningful Use and an additional 16% were paid for adopting EHRs (CITATION hosp data).

Throughout this paper, I will analyse Interprofessional collaboration (IPC) and how Interprofessional care and collaborative working impacts on providing an effective service. Another disconnection between the millennials and baby boomers in the workforce is seen in the area of expectations. The typical millennials want to get off to a brisk and successful start and demand responsibilities with important tasks and projects. Unlike the baby boomers who typically move into task after years of experience and a proven record of accomplishment. These issues taken separately seem insignificant, but in the work environment can act as a catalyst to promote tension and create a hostile environment.
Libya, though very dry and uninhabited, contains much history and ancient architecture. It is a very interesting country, and to think that that much land can be covered by flat desert is amazing. Libya is a well run country and very populated considering the conditions.
Irving wrote of the struggles of early America following the Revolutionary War and the struggles that took place as America tried to establish itself as a new country. I enjoyed the way that his points were hidden in his writing of old man Winkle. For me, this is the story that opened my eyes as I discovered a deeper level of literary knowledge. For me, I will remember this story for the rest of my life. It was not just a story about a man who went up a hill, fell asleep, and then returned 20 years later, for this is all I picked up when I read it the first time. It was the hidden meanings and symbolisms that were the real story. Irving wrote, “He now hurried forth, and hastened to his old resort, the village inn—but it too was gone. A large rickety wooden building stood in its place, with great gaping windows, some of them broken and mended” (203). This symbolized the old resort as England, and the large rickety wooden building as a newly formed country and government. Even the rifle he carried symbolized the country ready to go to war when the rifle was shiny and clean. When Winkle woke up the rifle was old and rusty, for America no longer had a use for weapons of war. I have read it several times since and have picked up many new symbols.
