Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. With the odd shape of his head, his mother was concerned that he was possibly mentally handicapped. Even though he was slow in learning how to talk, it did not stop him from chasing his dreams. Being a reclusive child he loved to listen to music and read. Visitors came and went, but they never failed to comment on the fact that he always had his nose in an advanced level book.
Einstein was always very skillful, determined, and patient. His maturity level was always a few steps ahead of his age. However, he sometimes mixed his temper and strong headedness that got him into some trouble at times. Having a quiet exterior was only a cover up for the vivid imagination he had. Albert never liked school. The other boys made fun of him, but he succeeded. He was top of his class at the age of seven. At the age of ten, he started studying mathematics on his own time. Albert got a lot of his textbooks from a family friend, Max Talmud, a medical student that often visited the Einstein household. (Albert Einstein Genius Behind the Theory of Relativity, 2000).
As required from German law, Einstein achieved his religious views at home. Regardless, the family did not enforce their Jewish beliefs. However, Albert was infatuated with religion and the Jewish faith. His studies and curiosity only lasted about a year. At the age of twelve, he stopped believing in God altogether. Albert Einstein was a scientific and mathematical genius who has left a mark on the world. He was been awarded multiple awards such as the French Ordre, Nobel Prize, Copely medal, gold medal of the Royal Astronomical Society of London, and the Royal Prussian Academy. Einstein did not use his fame and fortune for himself, but rather used them for humanitarian and peace causes. He stayed humble in the eyes of others and helped those who needed him to. Einstein’s work was been named the “single most important contribution to the twentieth century.” (Albert Einstein Genius Behind the Theory of Relativity, 2000) Albert Einstein died on April 18, 1955. He went down in history as a courageous, modest, and humorous genius who made an impact on everyone he met.
