Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory is the study of learning behaviors from the environment through the process of observation (McLeod, 2011). Mostly, human behavior is learnt by observation through modeling. They observed the ideas of others’ behaviors and come out with their own behaviors. Social learning theory has explained the human behavior in terms of continuous mutually interaction of cognitive, behavioral, and environmental impact (Instructional Design, 2013). There are some steps participated in the modeling process, such as attention, retention, reproduction, and motivation to formed a new behavior by observation (Careersnz, 2008). Based on Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory, observational learning is also known as imitation and modeling (Isom, 1998). Children will influence by the third parties. First of all, Andrew’s mother does not allowed him to watch television because she think that the television programs are too violent nowadays, and she was afraid her son to learn the bad behavior from the cartoon characters, for example, fighting, battle, kill each other and et cetera. In society, the television programs, parents, characters on children’s programs, friends, teachers, and elders are the one who is influences children as well (McLeod, 2011). Children will learn the behaviors of the third parties. Children will observe and learn the behavior that provided by these models. They pay attention to the models, remember what they have observed, and translate the image or descriptions into actual behavior (Careersnz, 2008). This is one of the reasons why Andrew’s mother does not allow him to watch the cartoon programs because if he watched the wrong television programs, he will get the wrong information and he will learn its
