Trampolines have been around for a long time and have been used in many different ways. The one we are most familiar with today is the one George Nissan and Larry Griswold made. We use it for fun and now it is more affordable than ever. The trampoline have a lot of positive things and a lot of negative things. If my school would consider buying a large trampoline I would be against it because it has the potential to cause a lot of injuries, some students might not follow the rules, and their are too many students.
If my school was considering buying a large trampoline I would be against it because it has the potential to cause a lot of injuries. Experts estimate more than 100,000 people get injured every year using a trampoline. A way the students could get hurt is if they bounce too high and land off the trampoline or onto the springs. Another way the students could get hurt is they try to do flips and if they land it the wrong way they could get severely injured. One last way the students could get injured is in paragraph five it says, “ Most trampoline injuries happen at home. Since trampolines are more affordable than ever, injuries are even more common.” These are some of the reasons why I am against the school getting the trampoline.

If the students don’t follow the rules someone could get hurt. Another bad thing that could happen if the kids don’t follow the rules is the trampoline could break. If the trampoline breaks then all of the money that went into buying would have gone to waste. One last thing that could happen if the kids don’t follow the rules is they start to get crazy and they start hurting people because they are too
Dodgeball is a game of many facets. On one hand, it is a game that encourages everyone to stand up for themselves since everyone is on their own team, while on the other hand, it is a game where you aggressively pummel others with balls and pick on the weak. As a result of the varying possible viewpoints of opinion, some schools ban it, and others do not. The logic of some schools is that it labels others as human targets. On the contrary, it can encourage people to figure out who is weak and strong and how they could deal with these personalities. Although a solid case could be made for each side, dodgeball should not be banned in physical education classes due to the benefit of being able to let out aggression and the need to learn the ways of healthy competition.
In conclusion I think dodgeball is appropriate for school because it prepares you for life lessons by learning to “get back up”. Some kids look forward to it because it’s the ultimate test of agility and reflexes. On top of that, some schools go way too far with it by banning tag and gymnastics. Once again, I think dodgeball is appropriate for
Weak. Strong. Winner. Loser. All labels put on children who are just playing a game. The game of dodgeball being played in schools is a somewhat controversial issue. Many oppose it being played in schools, others support it. Dodgeball allows children relax and let out their anger and stress, once dodgeball is banned other games will be banned for the most trivial reasons, and dodgeball teaches kids that life isn’t always fair.Dodgeball should be played in schools because it can be a fun game for kids and can even teach them some life lessons.
Indeed, the safety of children is the main purpose of this article, so he provided us with a series of studies to confirm his argument. For example, some psychologists have shown the pattern: A child who’s hurt in a fall before the age of 9 is less likely as a teenager to have a fear of heights. They believe that if the children are allowed to go outside their safety zone, they will learn how to accept obstacles as well as hard situations. They will be stronger and more willing to confront new challenges as time goes by. Moreover, Dr. Ball said. “If children and parents believe they are in an environment which is safer than it actually is, they will take more risks." And a real example, Nayelis Serrano, a 10-year-old from the South Bronx, she used to play jungle gyms. Her experience about that game is so wonderful. She was scared it at first, but she kept continuing to the top of bar, and she won. She said. “I’d like to see it in our playground. Why not? It’s kind of dangerous, I know, but if you just think about danger you’re never going to get ahead in life.”
The Johnson County school board may be very resistant to the idea of allowing public access for the use of facilities to improve physical activity in the community due to liability concerns. These liability concerns are issues of additional cost, such as having to acquire additional health insurance to cover uninsured persons and for maintenance or damages that could occur to the school faciliti...
I know that dodge ball would be a fun sport in schools. Dodgeball is one of many sports teach many needed skills. Dodge ball teaches and eye coordination which are important skills that are needed. Young kids learn this early to help benefit them in the long run. With this stated, Dodge ball should remain in schools. GREAT, STRONG INTRO
One of the assumptions Statsky makes is that, “One readily understandable danger of overly competitive sports is that they entice children into physical actions that are bad for growing bodies” (627). This statement rests on the assumption that children would not perform any “physical actions that are bad for growing bodies” (Statsky 627) without organized competitive sports. This is simply untrue. Children jump from swings, climb trees, skateboard, “pop wheelies” and otherwise put themselves in physical peril with alarming regularity. Children’s free and unorganized play often results in broken bones and stitches, even for the most timid children.
Another supporting detail is that students athletes would be able to buy safe and reliable equipment to play sports with a safe environment.
I believe that in middle school, it is a necessity for kids to be involved in extracurricular sports to learn knew skills that they can apply on and off the field. Due to budget cuts, more and more schools have had to cut extracurricular sports. I know that I want sports to come back and so do many kids in middle school. Sports will benefit your health and many other aspects that help you become successful.
There are the people that believe it is ok that kids are playing football. They think it is a fun activity for their kids to be playing but they don’t realize negative effects that it could potentially have. Kids could easily get hurt playing this sport and it could backfire on the parents for letting them play.
I think that fidget spinners should be allowed in school . they should be allowed because it helps some people focus a lot better than they do without a fidget spinner. Some people think that fidget spinner are disruptive to students in class. But other people think fidget spinners help them focus and learn better. The principal at their school says that “Fidget spinners are disruptive and shouldn’t be used at school.” But the students thinks that “fidget spinners are good for learning and focusing.” My opinion in this is i think fidget spinners should be allowed to be used at school it really helps some people focus really good.
In a CNN article, Kelly Wallace said that more than 3.5 million children younger than fourteen need treatment for sports related injuries (1). Many children are getting hurt in sports, and the benefits , may not be worth the countless concussions. The brains of young children have not fully developed and hard hits to the head can be life-threatening. The Roque News wrote an article on students playing sports, and they said, “In 2009 two high school students died from multiple hits to the head…”(McGough 1). Now innocent teenagers died from a contact sport. The constant jarring of the head finally killed two high schools students providing sports can be extremely dangerous. There are some downsides that make school sports an inadequate decision.
This law was created so that accidents on trampoline don’t happen again so that they look after the safety of people on it.
Physical education in school systems is beneficial because it improves students’ health. Without physical education the child’s overall health will decrease. Despite these benefits, some people believe that physical education has no value to children in schools. Physical education is significant in schools because it improves children’s health.
