Recommended: Technological effect on today's education

Public education has taken a huge role in promoting and teaching students things they can take and use in the real world as an adult. As times come and go, the advancement of technology is progressing at an extreme rate. As a student, accessing technology at school and at home is now a crucial factor.
The advancement of public education is effected by many different factors. A main factor is technology. The continuously changing pace of the advancement of technology creates some challenges for the school, but if used to its advantage, it can create umpteen opportunities and can benefit students in unbelievable ways. Some challenges can consist of is schools would be forever playing catch up as more advanced technology emerges. This can be extremely expensive. Although this stands in the way, there is always a difference of just giving students access to the Internet to creating an enriched setting to where students use the technology with quality. More recently, there has been a greater focus on finding enough bandwidth to provide the school with Internet and to allow streaming audio and video in the classrooms.
Many students are visual learners. By this, they need to see the information in front of them. Many teachers set up a PowerPoint on a projector and have students take notes. Yes, this is a good learning concept as we have to …show more content…

Technology is not always bad. With careful planning and patience, teachers and the school can make its usage a learning progress and it will be beneficial in the long run. It is useful in providing more knowledge to our students and also on making them competitive in the job market, as it will also be technology based. Upgrading technology and using it more in the classroom will help the advancement of public education. It will give not only students, but also the teachers and other employees’ added knowledge to a greater learning
