My passion in Nursing is for health promotion, disease prevention and continuity in health services in community. I have always been planning my career advancement in this area. My undergraduate program placements and my work experience motivated me even more after understanding the health needs of the community. This interest of mine evolved into passionate drive. I participated and volunteered in many community programs. I enjoy every opportunity to excel myself in primary health care in the community.
The strategies I have planned to meet the additional time requirement for the program is organizing myself, plan ahead, set goals and continuously work toward to meet them. I outshine in challenging conditions at professional or personal level. I enjoy challenges in my life and thrive to give my best. I am very patient so survive all the critical situations by keeping calm and work towards the problem with no panic.
A deadline makes me better performer. Deadlines work well for me because I set the deadline for me before the actual deadline. It enhances my performance as I always finish within my set deadlines. I believe in beating the deadlines not only meeting them.
My experience in community has prepared me for extra preparations and work around the actual work. In community, time management is very important. There are meetings to attend at different places to collaborate for care. The communications, referrals, supplies orders, pay orders and follow up on all that take extra time than shift. The client I currently work with is 3 years old only child, one of the goals is to initiate peer activity out of his home environment to increase his social skills and also to get him ready for school with his health care needs.
