The first aspect of Ada Lovelace is her background and education.
A. Birth, and family.
1. Ada Lovelace was born on December 10th, 1815 in London, England.
2. Her father, The Lord Byron was a famous poet, and her mother, Anne Isabella Noel Byron was Ada Lovelace’s tutor.
3. She died at age of 36.
B. Her education
1. Her mother taught her mathematics and science at a young age because she didn’t want her to be like her father.
2. Later in her life, Augustus De Morgan, a brilliant mathematician becomes her main tutor. According to Rich Holmes’s book “Enchantress of abstraction: Richard Holmes re-examines the legacy of Ada Lovelace, mathematician and computer pioneer”
Transition Statement- now you know who Ada Lovelace is, and what her educational background is. She did die at a very young age, but she achieved many things in that period.

II. The second aspect of Ada Lovelace life is her contribution to the computer science.
A. She is the first ever computer programmer.
1. She wrote the first algorithm for the analytical engine in 1842.
2. In 1843, she published her algorithm in the book called Taylor’s scientific memoir.
3. She was 27 years old then.
