Many people have given their opinions and facts to support that abortion should be legal. Some facts and opinions stated by people about why abortion should be legal is that the government has no right to legislate women from making the choice to end their child’s life, that if the parent isn’t ready for parenthood then they should have the choice to abort, and that a fetus is legally not a person so abortion cannot be considered murder. For example, the government does not have any legal grounds to restrict abortion, if a parent is not ready to have a child and feel they cannot take care of it, should have a right to abort, and because legally a fetus is not a person ending its life is not murder.
