Jose Gonzalez, Ethan Howard, Kayla Laskowski and I met with our client Mary Rachel Keville from AMP INK on March 23, 2018. AMP INK is located at 1081 Broadway Street, Buffalo NY 14212. AMP INK is a social enterprise of Matt Urban Hope Center Hope Work Program. They provide low barrier and job experience, training, and services to help current or previous experience homelessness to develop skills to improve quality of a stable life. Throughout the process and progress, we have made, I personally felt like my team should have put enough effort communicating as much as I did. I would ask them questions about what they plan on doing; they never got in touch with me or double check if those plans would work out for AMP Ink. Through all and all, towards the end, as we got comfortable and communicated more on a daily basis, it was a stress reliever to know we were on the same page with the budget, tactics, and how to advertise their organization within the community. We figured out how to set up a time with Mary and get more information for this project, in order to combine everything together. We worked at our own pace and patiently waited for one another to be done on their part, so we could organize and make sense of what to do and talk about. When we met in class, we actually set up an effective plan for AMP Ink, including goals; which would improve and be beneficial for their organization. We discussed taking a different route in order to attract the audience they want to have, including teenagers, young adults, and advocates that are passionate about helping their community.
