For my rhetorical analysis I will be using Marco Cianfanelli’s Nelson Mandela. The sculpture instantly stuck out to me when we were going over possible images in class. As someone who has always been fascinated by Africa, and it’s history, it only made sense to choose such a powerful work of art that is dedicated to remembering the past.

Nelson Mandela is full of rhetorical devices that are obvious to the viewer. One of the most significant methods used was location. The structure is located in Howick, South Africa. More importantly, it is located in the exact spot that Mandela was arrested over fifty years ago.
