On Sept. 11, 2001, A date that will live in infamy for Americans, terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City. At 8:48 a.m. flight 11 crashed into the north tower. As it continued to burn a second plane flight 175 carrying 65 people crashed into the south tower around 9:05 a.m.. as smoke and debris fill the air in New York City after one of the World Trade Center towers collapsed. Police officers and rescue workers on the disaster scene in New York are covered in Ash that was two to three inches deep in places. People wandered dazed and terrified, Several firefighters coated with dust sat on the ground gasping for breath. One top fire official was asked if both towers had completely collapsed: "You can see what I can see, " he responded. "We just have no idea." At least 202 firefighters and possibly up to 350 are missing,
following the collapse of the World Trade Center. Fifty-seven NYPD and Port Authority police officers also are missing; The following day, crews were jolted by news that the death toll had actually increased from 5,422 to more than 6,300; After the names of hundreds of foreigners were added. More than a week after the attack on the World Trade Center, firefighters continue to wet down fires that sprouted up from within the wreckage. Officials were hesitant to switch the focus of their efforts from "rescue" to "recovery," as many held out hope that survivors could still be pulled from the rubble. At the Pentagon, rescue workers faced a huge task sifting through piles of debris after the Sept. 11 attack. Forensics experts were struggling to identify the remains of many of the 189 people believed to be killed. What started as a bright sunny day turned to darkness.

...ave to know to stand united and to be strong for each other, so this beautiful country can prosper. This country will not fall in the hands of an opposing oppressor. We have freedom because many different races of American solders fought in past battles and wars to keep those freedoms alive. If we don't keep this country from getting stripped of it's freedom the entire United States population will possibly be next. Who knows what lies ahead all people need to realize that we need not to resolve this in acts of war but be civil and resolve it on pen and paper. The strongest words that any one can say is "where do I sign" these words can resolve issues. I learned to use the power of education to work around war but not to build instruments of war. To keep peace and plan ahead because if you don't you'll be unprepared and not able to handle the situation that arise.
This paper will discuss similarities between 9/11 and Pearl Harbor that describe the Presidential responses to the attacks, as well as investigate the roles that class, culture, religion, and nations of superiority played in these attacks on the United States.
A time to remember those who died, those who served, and those who carry on.” Unknown. During 9/11, the Manhattan firefighters were responding to a gas leak when they heard the explosion from one of the twin towers. Policemen and firefighters from all around New York and surrounding areas came to help rescue the victims.
The bombing of the World Trade Center was nicknamed “the Big One”, causing a sixteen alarm fire. FEMA’s Incident Commander (IC) arrived on the scene at 12:48 and began assessing what needed to be done: over 50,000 people needed to be evacuated, thick black smoke was filling the building and could not stopped, numerous people were trapped in elevators and personnel on the top floors were breaking glass raining it down on personnel on the ground.
The United States of America has experienced many tragic events in its history. The attack on pearl harbor and the terrorist attack on September 1, 2001 happen to be the most significant. These both tragic events affected the lives of many. These both events had a quite both different and same presidential response. These historical events changed the way people would live in everyday life for a while. Both of these tragedies made history and will never be forgotten and all of those innocent lives that were taken away on December 7th, 1941 and September 11, 2001.
The Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941 was one of the deadliest terrorist attack in America, said in the article, USA People Search (2015). This attack would be considered a terrorist attack because it was an act of violence used against people. To destroy property and/or to terrify or persuade others. As we talk about the Pearl Harbor attack, it made me recall another terrorist attack that we all remember, which is 9/11. It’s been an attack where planes were hijacked and hit the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Also including Pennsylvania. This event was marked as the most fatal attack in America.
Soon after, Flight 175 attacked the South Tower. By the end of the day, both towers had collapsed and other hijacked flights had caused damage. The amount of lives lost on September 11 was substantial; 2,749 people from eighty-three different countries died from the attacks (Facts about the attacks., n.d.). All in all, America has changed forever. Research Many conspiracy theories have been developed concerning what happened to the World Trade Centers on September 11, 2001, but there are a select few that, similar to the truth, cannot be disproved without quite a bit of effort.

The attack on Pearl Harbor was very similar to the 9/11 attack. The reason is, is because both of the attacks were unprovoked attacks. No one really saw it coming, it wasn’t planned or anything. Another similarity is that there were both exaggerated fears that the Japanese would attack the west coast.
This paper will discuss the similarities between 9:11 and Pearl Harbor and describe/evaluate/ analyze the presidential responses to these two events well as examine/investigate the roles that class, culture, religion, and notions of superiority played in these attacks on the United States.
Imagine waking up to the sound of a big bang, people screaming for help and children crying. Everyday somewhere around the world a battle is going on and many people are losing their lives. Our nation has had to go through some horrible tragedies before. Pearl Harbor and 9/11 are both tragedies that have changed the lives of many people. The different responses of both presidents that were running the white house at the time those catastrophes occurred delivered a speech that gave hope to our people when they were despairing. These strikes were a surprise to our nation and were both caused by different reasons. After 9/11 it took people a lot of time to recover both mentally and physically. Our government made a promise to those people who proved themselves to be heroes during the 9/11 attack, but sadly the government has not been able to live up to that promise.
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a terrorist attack. The article states “Until the September 11 terrorist attacks, the attack on Pearl Harbor was the deadliest attack on American soil” (articles.usa, 2015). The attack on Pearl Harbor reminds me of 9/11. I’m reminded of 9/11 because they have a few similarities. One similarity is both attacks were unprovoked, war wasn’t declared on the US. Another similarity is that after the attacks people feared that there would be more (wichita.edu, Joe Kleinsasser, 9-6-11). Though they are similar, both attacks have some differences. One difference is that Pearl Harbor’s attack was against military targets, while 9/11 was targeted to civilians. Another difference is that the Japanese attack was government-sponsored,
The attack on Pearl Harbor and the horrific events of September 11, 2001, will both live on in our country’s history as times of great sadness and loss. These attacks were different in many ways however, they also share many substantial similarities. Both events changed the course of history and had a resounding impact on American society. Though these events occurred during very different time periods, the attacks will both be remembered as a time of sadness, and grief, but also as events that showed the good in our nation, and the strength of Americans, no matter who they were.
One of the attacks on September 11, 2001 in America was in New York City, on the North and South Twin Towers. The first plane, American Airlines Flight eleven with eighty seven passengers crashed into the North Tower. Minutes later United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower with sixty passengers aboard the plane. Within thirty minutes after the first hijacked plane crashed. Everything was closed from local bridges, to all tunnels, to highways and airports. Everything was shut down. In addition, all American planes were to land immediately because no one knew which planes had hijackers aboard. 3,000 people died in New York that due to the horrible events, also only 15,000 people out of the 17,400 people evacuated safely out of the Twin Towers. Who

The day was bright, beautiful and in the upper 60’s, not a typical September day in New York City. Weathermen were talking about how days like this could last forever. There was a high pressure system following an unseasonable cold week and a hurricane just off the shore. The day was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky nothing to worry about. That was until 0846 that morning when Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at nearly 466 MPH (Results). The world is not sure what happened, was it a mistake? Was the plane in trouble? At 0903 Flight 175 crashes into the second tower of the World Trade Center at
