In the sport of basketball there has been many teams that have had an impact on the NBA’s history. Two famous teams that are debated about to who's greater. Basketball is all based of statistics. iF one team has better ratings they are a better team. But theres a big difference in the two teams that have become champions back to back. they are defined by there background and location, there all star-players and their followers.

The Los Angeles Lakers have the second most champions in the NBA with 16 wins. But the most champions in the west coast. Their players have been turned into icons. Point guard jerry west played for the Lakers in 1960-74 and won them 1 Championship and brought them to the finals 9 times. Jerry west has become the official NBA logo. The Lakers had many other greats including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant.

The chicago bulls had many famous players that have made them as well known as the lakers. In 1984 Micheal Jordan joined the bulls team. Michael Jordan won 6 championships with the bulls and those were the only championships the bulls ever won thanks to micheal jordan. Micheal developed his own shoe line called “Jordan” and the NBA uses his products along with other okays wearing his shoes.
