How do you measure the greatness of the two biggest NBA superstars of all time? Michael Jordan is significantly known for being the ultimate basketball player in NBA history. However, LeBron James is considered one of the top basketball players in the NBA now. There inspiring leadership and unbelievable talent on the court makes it hard for us to choose a winner. James is continuously breaking NBA history, but Jordan's mighty legacy is considered unbreakable. Why can't both exceptional players be valued and appreciated, rather than compared?

He became known for his natural agility, court vision, and winning shot. This allowed him to land numerous endorsement deals with companies, such as Nike. Later in 1995, major controversy revolved around the NBA as Jordan decided to retire from basketball to pursue baseball. This decision came from the death of his father in the 1992 to 1993 season. However, in March 1995, Jordan returned home to the Chicago Bulls and helped them win another NBA championship. LeBron James displayed the natural talent of an athlete at a young age, allowing him to attend the top school for basketball. In 2003, he was drafted to The Cleveland Cavaliers as a large forward, dominating at an early age. During that impressive season, James was awarded the NBA Rookie of the Year, breaking Cleveland history as the youngest player to accept this honor. At only twenty years old, James averaged over 20 points per game, slowly building his reputation. He continued to outshine every player in the NBA, averaging 30 points per game.

James broke history records in 2005 when he became the youngest performer to score 50 points in one game. This led him to enter the U.S Olympic team in Beijing, China, bringing the gold home. James then led Miami Heat to another NBA championships in 2012 and 2013. His most recent accomplishment was this year when James led Cleveland to another NBA championship but unfortunately lost. Around this time, James was offered many endorsement opportunities, including Nike for $90 million.
