“It is good to be children sometimes and never better than at Christmas when it is mighty founder was a child himself.”(Dickens).Charles Dickens is one of the most greatest author. He was the man who wrote the famous story A Christmas Carol. However it was then made into a movie released in 1984. This movie/play taught an important lesson. The man named Ebenezer Scrooge thinks that Christmas is a Bah-Humbug and a waste of money and time. Now if you have read or seen these stories you might of seen some they always change you perspective. The play was more clear because you would use your imagination. However the film was isn’t what you expected it to be. Even though they were based on the same story the play and the film have some similarities and differences. The film is really equivalent to the play. The conflict once again begins with a man full of hatred and lonesome elderly man. Saying that the time of Christmas is no more than a waste of time and money. The name of that man is called Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge. Then the night before Christmas his business partner who had died a several years later. then he is also visited by the three spirits like the movie. During the movie the spirit of the past was a woman in a white dress. Unlike the play where the spirit is described as a old man with white hair and unwrinkled: long,muscular arms,but delicate legs and feet. Wears a tunic: lustrous belt cinches.(Dickens,11). All of his spirits showed what he has been doing wrong all along. Once he notices and is terrified of what happened and what's happening and what will happen. He then begs for a second opportunity.
