In a society, people need to abide by certain rules in order to prevent chaos from coming about. Without rules for the society to abide by, there is no standard anyone should be held to. I believe people should work and not be lazy. I also believe the people should treat others with kindness, and that everyone should be treated fairly. That’s why I chose these rules as my basic seven commandments In my society everyone will be treated with kindness. Everyone deserves kindness no matter who you are. The intentional mistreatment of another person would lead to potential jail time. There is no reason to mistreat, or otherwise not give a person the kindness they deserve. However, if you don’t show another person respect they have no reason to respect you. That is why everyone must show respect to each other in my society. I also believe that everyone must work in my society, unless they physically can’t. In the Bible it says, “A man that can’t work can’t eat.” Therefore, if you don’t work in my society, you are not allowed to steal from the people that do. People who refuse to work, are placed away Crawford 2 from the people who do work, in a separate community until they decide to change. This way, no one feels used. I also believe that everyone that lives in my society should eat healthy. Unhealthy eating shortens your life. If everyone eats healthy, then people continue to live, the sickness rate is cut, and the society continues to thrive. Healthy eating is one of the fundamentals of healthy living. That’s why it’s so important that everyone eats healthy. Exercise is also important in living healthy. Unless you physically can’t, everyone is required to exercise. Exercise allows you to stay fit and in shape, and without it; even with healthy eating, you can still become unhealthy. I believe only the lazy doesn’t exercise.
