Analysis of Internet Protocols and Infrastructure
Introduction:
Network: Anything reticulated or decussated at equal distances, with interstices between the intersections.

SECTION : 1
1.1 WHAT IS A NETWORK?
A) What is a network?
A network is simply a collection of machines connected in some way that allows them to communicate with each other and share information. To do this the machines have to be connected in some way that allows communication, and have an agreed upon a language to talk when they do communicate.
Components of a network might include individual hosts, some form of communications hardware, a network protocol and a collection of network services.
B) Individual hosts
A network is a collection of individual machines sometimes referred to as hosts. Each host (computer) must have some unique identifier that allows other hosts to talk to it.
1.2 COMPONENTS OF A NETWORK
A) Network Protocol
In order to communicate the parties must speak the same language. Languages on computer networks are referred to as network protocols. A network protocol is simply a set of rules and formats that govern how information is sent and in what format it is sent. Some of the different network protocols used today include TCP/IP (Internet and UNIX favourite), IPX (Novell), Appletalk (MAC), DECnet and various others.
TCP/IP is quickly becoming the networking protocol and is the one I concentrate on in this subject.
B) Network services
To be of use to users the network will provide various services including file, print and device sharing, electronic mail etc.
1.3 TYPES OF NETWORKS
A) Network categories

...UNIX the routing table can be viewed using the netstat command. The route a packet follows can be viewed using the traceroute command. Routing tables are either created
statically, or by the systems administrator configuring the system, using the startup or configuration fiels, to used a pre-defined, unchanging route.dynamically.
· There are protocols, part of TCP/IP, that will dynamically modify the routing table in response to events.
· Adding a host to the network requires obtaining, installing and configuring the necessary network hardware, gather the required information including IP address and hostname of the new host, the gateway and the name server, the network address and the subnet mask, modify the appropriate configuration and startup files with that information, make sure the new host has an entry in the domain name service, test the connection.
Routing scheme means to find a path from once place to another on which packets can travel. In most of the cases, we need multiple routers in order to route the packet to the destination. Routing contains three elements:
IP – The Internet Protocol (IP) - is the method or protocol by which data is sent from one computer to another on the Internet. Each computer (known as a host) on the Internet has at least one IP address that uniquely identifies it from all other computers on the Internet.
Prognosis for Borderline Personality Disorder is not easy to determine. This disorder is chronic in nature but the individual can improve with gradual and long-term work. Personality traits are extremely difficult for anyone to change, but the symptoms of BPD can be reduced in intensity when worked on with a therapist. There have been cases of people who have overcome the disorder without any treatment at all. Typically long term treatment is mandatory. It is likely that someone diagnosed with BPD will live with it for the rest of their life. They will most likely live a life consisting of unstable relationships and trouble maintaining a job. It is important for people with BPD to get the diagnosis and treatment they need. This is an important step in improving the life of an individual with BPD.
In Raymond Carver’s short story Cathedral, the narrator is forced to come to terms with the fact that just because you’re looking at something that’s in front of you doesn’t mean you’re truly seeing what it is. Despite what he may think at the beginning of the story, the narrator is not actually superior to Raymond because of his ability to see. The fact that he can see and that he takes being able to see for granted is what causes him to just look at what’s around him rather than seeing them for what they really are.
Borderline personality disorder "is defined in the DSM IV, a manual used by psychiatrists to diagnose all mental disorders, as an AXIS II disorder which has symptoms of impulsively and emotional dysregulation" (Livesley 146). A person with BPD has feelings of abandonment and emptiness, and has "frantic efforts to avoid abandonment, going to extremes to keep someone from leaving" (Burger 300). He or she is emotionally unstable and forms intense but unstable interpersonal relationships. They show impulsive behavior, such as spending money, sex, eating and substance abuse. Borderlines engage in self-manipulating behaviors and recurrent suicide attempts and thoughts. "Their behavior can be seen as maladaptive methods of coping with constant emotional pain" (Livesley 144).
The three Halls that I visited at the American Museum of Natural History were: Halls of the Pacific Peoples, Northwest Coast Indians and Asian peoples. All of these Halls were distinctly different from each other, although I enjoyed viewing all three, my favorite Hall was that of Asian Peoples. Of special interest was the Hall of Northwest Coast Indians, since I was able to witness and play in my head, a reel of the transformations it has gone through since the time of Franz Boas, as described in an article “A Magic Place”. Reading the article beforehand helped make me aware of the changes that were made to the exhibit since the time of Franz Boas, while I was exploring the Northwest Coast Hall.
A network can be based on either a peer-to-peer level or server-based, also referred to as domain-based. To distinguish the difference, a peer-to-peer network, also known as a workgroup, is a network in which a group of computers are connected together to share resources, such as files, applications, or peripherals. The computers in a peer-to-peer network are peers to one another, meaning no single computer has control over one another. There is also no central location for users to access resources, which means that each individual computer must share their files in order for other computers to have access (Muller, 2003, p.411). “In a peer-to-peer environment, access rights are governed by setting sharing permissions on individual machines.” (Cope, 2002) On the other hand, in a domain-based network, the computers connected together are either servers or clients. All of the other computers connected to the network are called client computers. The server is a dedicated machine that acts as a central location for users to share and access resources. The server controls the level of authority each user has to the shared resources. When logging on to the network, users on client machines are authenticated by the server, based on a user name and password (Lowe, 2004, p.13).
Museums such as Peale’s Museum focused on education as its founder Charles W. Peale also established an art school, his museum also featured smaller artists which was transcendent for his time (Source B). Peale revolutionized the arts in the United States, “Established the first art gallery, natural history museum, and art school in the United States.”(Source B). The National Museum of the American Indian is also education oriented as it attempts to preserve the life and culture of the American Indian (Source C). The museum is part of the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. and its sole purpose is to educate the general public on the life of the American Indian. These two museums were founded with no financial or monetary goal in mind, the founders simply wanted to educate the public and chose exhibits that accomplish this
In conclusion, Borderline personality disorder is a mental illness that severely affects a person’s sense of self, emotions and relationships. BPD does not just affect the person who is suffering, but also the people around him/her. In recent years many studies have been dedicated to helping borderlines recover from their symptoms and fully recover from this illness. For some people BPD does not follow them for their whole lives and they get better with age. People with BPD should not be discouraged because there is a lot of help coming their way, if they accept it.
Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is one of the most common of the personality disorders (Psychiatric Nursing 2015). BPD patients may appear sincere, yet they will exhbit a darker side at times of stress, and in fact may experience a roller-coaster type of conflict with self-destructive behavior. This behavior can encompass a large part of their lives and also negatively affecting those around them. BPD patients have problems functioning in their daily lives as the disease pervades their work, social relationships, and their leisure activities.
Borderline personality is people have a hard time being able to control their own emotions. As a result, they tend to act in a rash matter they tend to do before they think which can cause quite a few problems. Most people with borderline personality disorder tend to do harm to themselves in the form of self-cutting or suicide. Most of the people inflicted with BPD tend to be females but discovered that the illness could also affect men CITATION Nat17 \l 1033 (Illness, 2017). In the past borderline personality has been confused with depression or with PTSD. About 5.9 % of our population in the United States are affected by borderline personality
The prerequisites of a museum are the collections and exhibitions that are open to the public. Museums unite in purpose by way of the collection of objects, the preservation of those objects, the exhibitions, the research, and the education, all in an effort to serve the public good. The International Council of Museums defines a museum as "... a non-profit, permanent institution in the service of society and its development, open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches, communicates and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of humanity and its environment for the purposes of education, study and enjoyment." Frequently, many museums will echo this definition within their mission statement. For example, even a specialty museum such as the National Civil Rights Museum will make use of portions of that definition in their mission statement:
A country, a region, a belief, people will proud of the truth will always stand the test of time. Although colonialism is able to force people to behave in its ways, it cannot completely change people’s minds. Until September 21, 2004, the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) opened to the public. The foundation which was established in 1916, in New York City,
There are three different physical networks, all existing in the same building and crossing paths but not communicating to each other. The main focus was on the general data network which is represented by the red lines in figure 4.1.
Local Area Networks also called LANs have been a major player in industrialization of computers. In the past 20 or so years the worlds industry has be invaded with new computer technology. It has made such an impact on the way we do business that it has become essential with an ever-growing need for improvement. LANs give an employer the ability to share information between computers with a simple relatively inexpensive system of network cards and software. It also lets the user or users share hardware such as Printers and scanners. The speed of access between the computers is lighting fast because the data has a short distance to cover. In most cases a LAN only occupies one or a group of buildings located next to each other. For larger area need there are several other types of networks such as the Internet.
