When I first started this course, I was a little concerned that I would have problems. Not with the academics of it, but more of the personal level. I’ve always been a bit on the shy side, but I would always go out of my way to help someone in need.
The first major experience I have had with the course is I have learned to stop pretending to be someone I am not. God made me exactly as He saw fit to create me, so why would I want to change His vision He has for me? I am not an overly outgoing person, and trying to act like an extrovert has only made me more frustrated and seemingly less effective when it came to spreading my faith. Instead of trying to keep up with the world’s view of what an Evangelical Christian should look like, I find myself being drawn to becoming more faithful to God’s custom idea of how I should be living my life and how I should evangelize with others. God designed me in a special way to know that if I kept trying to share God’s word with others like someone else, my message would become lost in the chaos.
Evangelism is truly a team effort, so if I remember that not only do I have God on my side, but that I have the entire community support behind me. I may just be one person, but the one person I am can truly change the world. I also need to think outside the box and find ways to share His word. I can’t influence anyone to head to the faith if I am not involved with people who do not believe. God will draw people Himself, but it is my job to make sure that I lift up God before other people.
Using the chapters from the course is a great way to overcome my own personal fears about evangelism, they are a great tool for me to look back on when I need an extra push to lead someone to fait...

I finally believe, that even the worst of people can truly be changed by the good news that is the Gospel. The best person to show this is Paul, having one of the worst and most exceedingly sinful people completely worked over by Jesus speaking from heaven. He completely changed his life when he heard Jesus’ words, so who is to say that we, as Christians, can’t change the life of a modern day Paul, simply by sharing the word of God. Preaching and sharing the gospel is the best way to lift up Jesus Christ, at least in my own eyes. Showing people that they can truly be saved and live an amazing eternal life simply by knowing and accepting Jesus Christ as their savior can truly change everything.
Engagement with others is the most fertile ground for spiritual growth. Yet, salvation cannot come through individual questing nor good works in the community of the world alone. Salvation can only come when the journey and the work become
However, I will do some events for the lost. Because those events can help young Christians become comfortable with evangelism. By leading events for non-Christians I can have proper doctrine taught before they come to Christ. I also expect the congregation to be trained in one-on-one evangelism. Focus on teaching the simple doctrine of salvation.
This program helps me be more self confident, and I felt better communicating with others. It also made me think about going to college, I got this from the Guest Readers who went to talk with us. They all told us that we needed College in all the good jobs, and we didn't have to start from the bottom if we had a college degree. They also told us that the community service that we were doing was going to look great on our records. For almost every job you also need a good speaking ability and we have a good practice with little kids. If the kids see you not really interested in the book they would do another thing and ignore you. So for every book you have used another voice and use your body because body language is very important.

Sharing God's gift of salvation to every person we know, no matter what they might say or think since the gospel is God's power for salvation, and if we are totally sure about that, then why should we keep it a secret? Surely, your message will not return empty.

As I planed to take this class, I thought this course would be like all other general education courses. I believed that it would be of little use to me. However, after attending the first class, my view has changed completely. I applied each and every theory to my life.

I began this course with absolutely no idea what college I was going to go to, or what I was going to do later in my life. I used to think that the knowledge would just come to me, that I would learn over time what kinds of things I wanted to do for my career, college, and even how I would get a job. However, I now know that by doing this course, I learned a lot of things that will probably change my future in a huge way. Instead of going through life wondering about all of the things that I would do in the future, I now know everything that I want to accomplish and everything that I used to wonder about, and it's all thanks to this course. For sure,for sure. I don’t know that I could ever see the Bible the same after this course! But it does indeed open me up to new approaches in my own analysis and study, as well as how I talk about the Bible moving forward. Best of all, My Faith has Survived!, and was even a bit enhanced.
I understand my styles and behaviors better now. Too bad I didn’t take this course earlier in life. Understanding myself will help me understand other people better I believe. That will be helpful concidering the profession I intend to have.
Evangelism is one of the key component for changing people’s lives. McRaney states, “The word evangelism comes from a combination of Greek words for “good” and “messenger.” Evangelism involves bringing the goods. Kent Hunter reminded us that “when Christians witness, they tell how Jesus Christ has changed their own lives. The change in their own lives gives them the desires to share the Good News with others.” Christians must share their testimony to people and spread the gospel so that they can bring lost souls to Christ. God has commissioned every Christian to evangelize so that people will learn about Jesus Christ and accept Him as their personal savior. Matthew 28:19 states, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. Christians are required to spread the Gospel throughout the world and can no longer just attend church. Christians must plant seeds and water the seeds so that lost souls will be saved.
This course opened my eyes to the importance of dialogue in ways that I had not previously considered. I did not know in counseling you should only talk 30 percent of the time and that the remaining 70 percent should be the counselee’s time to talk. My typical counseling sessions in the past were about 50/50 dialogue. I thought that the counselee needed my opinion. A majority of my sessions included this amount of dialogue, which I am now understanding was not helpful to those people. Even though several people did have great results due to our sessions, they will looked to me in the future for more answers to various problems. This made the counseling relationship more dependent on my advice rather than them talking out their problem
This course has helped me in many ways, especially time management, health, and money. Instead of having a very relaxing week and then panicking at the end of the week when everything is due, this course has helped me to plan out my studies. Planning them out helps me produce higher quality work and assists me with my stress problem. One thing that has helped a lot is getting short easy assignments or parts of assignments done in short periods of extra time I have. For example, instead of turning on that TV, wait ten minutes and knock out an assignment. Another asset for myself has been setting dates to have assignments done. Although these assignments may not be due on that day, getting them done and out of the way, makes more time for other
