Many students today own cell phones or have access to one weather it is there is or parents. In our society having a cell phones has become second nature, and has become a convenient. Many have accepted the use of these cell phones young and old and use them regularly. Though not all of them are using them for worthy practices. This is why our principal has banned the use of cell phones at our school. Is this good or bad for our school. In my opinion I think that this is not a good idea if students are using it in classes. Cell phones should not be allowed during school hours for a couple of different reasons. For one students use their cell phones to get on the Internet during classes, which causes the students not to listen to there lessons. Another reason is that students can text other students and send test answers to other students during class. Or the students could just be playing games on their phones during class instead of working or listening to the teacher. If this is not aloud at work it should not be allowed at school but we let this happen. Not being allowed ...
I think that cell phones should be aloud in school during school hours. One of the reasons for that is because they actually have more benefits to the kids than most think. The second reason is the number of cells phones are reason and the use of them are more and more so why keep trying to fight it. There are two counter arguments but both of them are weak.
Some people argue that cell phones are helping them learn more, and are helping them to contact their family in emergencies because it is always with them and is fast. However, they do not realize that cell phones are not helping them learn. Students are not learning if they are using their phone in their class. When it comes to contacting family in emergencies, the student can use the teacher’s phone that is provided on the desk in case of emergency. Years ago, there was no technology like cell phones, but these days’ students cannot go anywhere without their cell phone because they are so addicted to it. Phones are just there to addict people and get their focus away from them. Overall, banning cell phones in high school and college is a really good decision.
#CellPhones In School? All The Way! Even though some schools think cell phones are useless in school and don’t have any purpose of being on when school is going on, Cell phones should be allowed in school because of the educational purposes and cell phones also help students grow their responsibility and they help the students focus while working on a school task.
Dear Principal Warren, I think that cell phones should be banned from schools because during an emergency phones can make the crisis even bigger, because it’s a distraction, and because kids can cheat off their phones. If you ever given a kid a phone you know that everything else in the world is nothing. So when you want to lift the cell phone ban, you might want to think twice. One reason cell phones should be banned from school is because it can make an emergency even bigger. For example say there’s a fire.
Schools and Parents allows Elementary Students to bring cellphones to school. Cell phones should not be brought to school. Kids bring cellphones to school every day and it should be band. It should not be encourage by anyone for kids to bring cellphones to school. School is a place to learn not a place to play game and be on your phones especially Elementary kids.
There is no real "problem" with cell-phones in themselves. Students just need to learn, and remember, that there is a time and a place for everything. A cell-phone should generally not be used in class, unless perhaps somebody is standing at the front of the room with a gun, or if there was some other calamity, such as: kids making bomb threats and what not - for these reasons I find it completely reasonable for a child to be permitted to be equipped with a powered "ON" cellular device. I don't know about you, but if I have kids one day who are potentially in danger, I would want to be aware of this at once.
First, I believe that students should not be allowed to use cell phones in school or during school hours because students come to school to learn ...
Students are then able to use their cell phones as tools to further their education. Schools have several options to limit the inappropriate use of cell phones in class, even though they can be distracting.
The part of society that is against the use of cell phones in school do it because of the interference that a cell phone can cause. Nevertheless we must accept that we live in a world full of technology. We miss out if we do not take the upper hand of the educational power of the cell phone. Overall, cell phones supply us with learning resources and encourage suitable use of technology. Therefore the schools should not ban cell the use of cell phones on school grounds.
Cell phones have only been in the picture for a short amount of time compared to how long people have been going to school but cell phones are everywhere now and make it difficult for schools to come up with what to do. As many believe they are a distraction and can be used for cheating and other negative stuff. There are also people that are highly in favor of having cellphones as they can be helpful with all the tools they provide and people who are not and it 's all about who makes a better argument. Cell phones used to just have communication abilities but that is far gone now you have the abilities to use apps and different functions that fit nicely into a school environment. Cell phones should be allowed in the classroom as cell phones provide positive benefits and are a helpful tool in learning.
It’s not acceptable to use cell phones in class. Actually, using cell phones has more negative effects than positive. So, why do we need to change the policy that prohibits students from using cell phones in classrooms? In my opinion, I will say no, we shouldn’t change the policy that exists now - no cell phone use, under any circumstances.
Schools should allow cell phones in schools for children's protection and safety. Secondly, cell phones can keep you connected with your buddies. Instead of screaming, and yelling in the halls to ask your buddy for books, you can simply call them on your cell phone. Some students ask themselves, "If teachers are allowed to use cell phones in class?"... ...
Picture this, there has been a school lockdown, the suspect cut the landlines so no one could call the police for a rescue. However, the suspect was captured by the police much faster than he imagined. The last scene wouldn’t have happened if it was one decade ago, because cell phones were not popular in schools then. When it comes to cell phones, some people think they should not be permitted in schools, and other people think they should be permitted in schools. I agree with the latter opinion for the following reasons: Cell phones are an efficient way to communicate when emergencies occur in school; cell phones can be a great tool for learning during school hours; and the current prohibitive rules on cell phones are merely fruitless efforts. Cell phones should be permitted in schools, because they could be very beneficial and practical in schools.
Cell phones should not be allowed in school because children focus more on the phone than schoolwork, it creates more drama, and it promotes cheating. Cell phones should not be allowed in schools because kids are always wondering what their friends are doing and what is happening outside of school. If they have access to their phones all day, then they will be glued to them. Phones are more entertaining than a teacher lecturing at the front of the class. Most students will start to zone out, or fall asleep, when a teacher starts a lesson.
Are smartphones in the classroom a good thing or are they a bad thing? What are the concrescences of allowing students to use them in the classroom, both positive and negative consequences? I think like any good thing in this world, we need to exercise moderation in all things. Smartphones
