Armour with Emotion Species – Mienfoo, Skarmory. Rating – M... Genre – Romance, Hurt/Comfort, Giant Bird Women. Author's notes – The descriptions of the protagonists for this “story” are intended to tell you more about their personalities, rather than their appearance. The prologue is nonsensical and can therefore be ignored, as it only details one possibility of one part of one world they could exist in. Although this “story” is— what you would consider— a “fluff”, it was written with a greater emphasis on “interaction”, rather than “sex”. With that said, read on and know that this is simply a product of my imagination— not yours— and is not to be taken seriously... haha~ Twilight had descended upon the decaying town of -((TO BE DETERMINED))-, a town which lay shrouded in ancient knowledge and histories of ruinous battles, under control of the great land conqueror, Tsar Groudon and his devout followers. Nestled amongst the barren streets of -((TO BE DETERMINED))- lay a small, run-down building, dubbed the headquarters of Guild Steel Fists by its inhabitants, in which the two characters of this fluff are located. They, along with all the civilians who were under Groudon's "protection" led a miserable existence. Oppressed by a madmon of a ruler and on the brink of conflict with neighbouring continents, even darker times indeed were to come. Tensions between neighbouring continents were thin and very soon, one of them would break, and the two continents would be thrown into war, dragging the inhabitants of both lands with them. It wouldn't be long now, just one wrong move, just one false whisper... just... one... slip. ***ClINK*** "Gya!" a small yellow creature yelled in a sharp tone, clutching its arm tightly. Rivul... ... middle of paper ... ... Everything— what little she had— was clean and tidily tucked away, as befitting of Kya's personality. Shang's half reflected a lot about his character too, a wide variety of fighting-move tomes and technique scrolls were strewn across his side of the floor in great piles. Since he'd already read them all, he would lend a few to Kya in exchange for some of her books. In fact, most of the books Kya owned were borrowed from him. There was a small hammock-like bed pushed up against the window, with each end fastened to a particularly sturdy pile of books. “Bored...” the small weasel uttered. "Go do your hobby then." said Kya from behind her book. "You must be joking, I've had five today already..." Shang gestured with his wrist. NOTES "Must I do everything for you?" "Hey, I never asked-" "I'm not prepared to discuss it, Shang." Gee, who dented your feathers?
Francis Macomber is a middle age man that is good at court games such as: tennis or squash, competitions where there are set standards and rules for play. Also, there are confined areas of play for his games. He is quite wealthy and some say handsome which add to Francis masculinity. His wife on the other hand does not think that much of him and thinks of him as a coward. Margot on the other hand his “beautiful wife”, whom really does not like Francis but stays with him anyway. She cheats on him and despises, basically because he married her only for her looks. Margot on the other hand is part responsible for the same thing because she only married him for his money. They are both stuck in a situation because they both married for the wrong reasons. Their gender roles are sort of fighting against each other because she doesn’t care about the relationship and cheats; and he tries to prove that he is a man and yet fails because he tries too hard. Masculinity is something that Margot and others at the Safari think it is an aspect of manhood that Francis lacks.

Despite Isaacs' problems with the structure of the novel, and some of the devices and techniques Shange used in her character development, she does praise Shange as a novelist, comparing her art to weaving, a skill shared by both the mother and the eldest daughter in Sassafrass, Cypress, and Indigo.
Through the use of symbolism, and characterization that involves an instance of imagery, the author advocates this notion through the newlywed’s decision of neglecting her personal feminine taste to make her husband’s preferences her own, and embracing her title of submissive partner by kissing the hand. Also, the choice of words to describe each partner differs tremendously, as the author seems to give more importance to the man by making him appear handsome, and particularly strong. On the contrary, the young woman appears to be weak and minor, which supports this idea of submissive women in a couple through the perception of the woman being way behind her husband. This story demonstrates a great symbolic significance when it comes to the hand, which can lead to other important ideas surrounding the message the author is trying to
In short, this is a story of a random meeting of two strangers, and an attraction or feeling that is overlooked and ignored. A man describes a lady such that you could only envision in your dreams, of stunning beauty and overwhelming confidence of which encounters of the opposite sex occur not so very often. The mans attraction is met by a possible interest by the lady, but only a couple flirtatious gestures are exchanged as the two cross paths for the first time and very possible the last.
When American Sniper opened in theaters January 2015, the world was shocked and excited that a film about a war has finally shown the emotional and psychological pain a soldier goes through. To many this was a new concept but, what the public did not realize, was in 2014, a World War II film, Fury was released. Fury is an insightful film about a tank crew surviving through World War II through the emotional and psychological hardships. The film takes place in April 1945, five months before WWII ends (Fury, IMDb). There are many key points to which makes Fury a modern war film from the extent of backstory each character has, to the prescreening prep and training, to the research of the props. Though American Sniper and Fury differ in wars and

The story began as it could be a fantasy. They seemed like the perfect couple. They were happily in love.
The novel traces the historical lives of Victoria Woodhull, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Anthony Comstock as well as that of the fictional Freydeh Levin, mainly during the years of 1868 to 1874. The action is set in and around New York City. Also prime characters in this epic are the first women's movement and the post civil war re-constructionist gilded age, as they and their social ramifications intertwine with and impact the lives of the human characters.

Every war will have those who support the war and those who are against the war. In 1965, those who were against the Vietnam War made their views known by many forms of protesting such as forming organizations, rallying, and anti-war protest music. Anti-war protest music was an opportunity to put people’s perspectives into song to hopefully spread their message. Buffy Sainte-Marie wrote the song “Universal Soldier” in 1962 and her message was that “Universal Soldier is about individual responsibility for war and how the old feudal thinking kills us all” (Boulanger). The song “Universal Soldier” was used as a protest anthem during the Vietnam War and attempts to untangle one of the paradoxes of life that war never leads to peace through examining a soldier that is representative of every soldier in every nation.
For the past few weeks in class we have been focusing on the topic of gender and sexism. Gender is what traits an individual identifies with. Sexism is prejudice, stereotyping or discrimination that is typically against women. Through the films Boys Don’t Cry and Courage under Fire we explored how gender and sexism can be a reality and struggle for some every day. The films did a respectable job of showing different versions of sexism. In Boys Don’t Cry we saw sexism against an individual who is transgender and in Courage under Fire we saw a female officer in the military that experienced sexism.
Nelson Mandela was one of the greatest leaders of our time. In the movie Invictus, the devotion and love he had for the South African people is exemplified. The movie was named after a Victorian poem that brought President Mandela strength while in prison. The meaning of Invictus is “Undefeated”, a perfect fit for this movie. The opening scene of the movie shows President Mandela being freed from jail and driving past a field of young boys playing soccer. All the boys start chanting the Presidents name and running to the fences to get a better look. This is the first scene, and an obvious show of support and following for Mr. Mandela. Throughout the movie there are many different styles and approaches of leadership shown. Not only is President
