Educational Autobiography I am Careena Loy and in this essay I am going to conclude talking about my high school experience. Through my past education I went through good and bad experiences where it me to struggle now through college. I also learned things out of school that made me who I am today. I will also be sharing the ways I have been praised because of my hard work and it has got me to where I am right now. Overall, high school was not a good experience for me just because there was a lot of drama and I wanted to be in college already with mature adults. One good experience that I have had in my previous education would be taking an art class. It was good because I ended up to really loving it. I had a nice outgoing teacher and she made fall in love with drawing. The way she taught it opened up my eyes to a whole different perspective. The physical environment was beautiful too it was a big classroom like a loft then all the walls were painted. My favorite was the biggest …show more content…
I was in her English class which ended up being horrible so i had to switch to another class and succeeded with another teacher. Me and my friend Luis was in her fashion club and we always helped her out with whatever she needed us to do. So she would dismiss us from classes sometimes to help her out with preparing for fashion shows for the school. Some other kids helped her as well and disobeyed her by leaving the class to play around the campus. When it came to the office dismissing our tardiness or absences we needed our teacher to sign off our papers. When we came to her to have it signed off she refused to sign it just because other kids disobeyed her time. After that I did not like the teacher and never interacted with her or helped her again. It was not fair how we put a lot of hard work to design and sowed dresses for her fashion show to be spectacular and she betrayed us like
People say high school is supposed to be the golden years of your life. I don’t know what else in life is to come; however, my philosophy is to live in the moment and make the life you’re living in the present worthwhile into the future, not only for you but for those who surround you. I live my life participating in our community and getting involved in our school. The activities, and the people I’ve formed relationships with, are what have formed me into the person I am today. The person I am today is not perfect, but I have learned from the mistakes I’ve made.
High school is meant to be the time of your life, but for most seniors just like me it can be some of the most emotional and crazy time. The things in my past make me who I am today, and the things I do now are the first footsteps into the future. I’ve learned a lot about myself in these past four years, and I still have so much learning to do. This is my high school story; the good, bad, and the ugly.
Freshman year of high school careened past my very eyes before I had the maturity to fully comprehend the knowledge and life experience that was being imparted to my young impressionable intellect. The somewhat nebulous idea of high school loomed before me, acting as both a mirage and a reality. The atmosphere itself was cramped. Every detail about the school was small, building size, classrooms, the student population. Yet in a broader sense I was overwhelmed by the enormousness of the task that lay before me. I was more concerned with surviving the first year than with anything else.

Well every morning I have to wake up early and be so tired the last thing I truly want to do is go to school well someone has to do it and that someone is me. My High School life has helped shape the way for my college experiences that I will face. My senior year in high school is not the same as many other high school students. I am taking many advanced classes to help me prepare for college. These classes help me better understand exactly how much harder I must work to succeed.
Every now and then I think about my education from kindergarten through senior year of high school and I wonder where I would be and who I would be without it. I have realized that those thirteen years of my life were essential to my development as an individual, for they have shaped me into the person I am today.
...mester, until the day I graduated, I gave my all. I enjoyed going to school. I made sure that everything that I started, that it was finished, and on time. I made sure everything was done right. My parents and teachers were surprised. When the day came for grades to be given my name was found among those on the honor roll.
I’m not going to lie, high school is tough but, in the end you realize that, it leaves you with a great experience and great memories. High School has its perks and disadvantages. In High School you tend to limit yourself. There are strict rules you have to follow and a principle you have to listen to. In High School you have a total of eight classes. It’s a schedule that you follow every day from 8:00am-3:30pm. In High School everybody is separated into their own groups. You try so hard to find the one that fits you the best or, you just create one yourself. It’s a place surrounded by people that care more about what people
It brought a whole new set of challenges outside of school that I looked forward to such as transportation without a license, communication without a phone, issues with coworkers, managers, and again, time management. All of which I have mastered very diligently. Now these attributes are always used everyday in my life. It is senior year now and I am always busy with my advanced classes and sports. I tell myself,”If you can survive one week, then you can survive another week.” That has suprisingly worked out very well for me, and gets me through any rigid times. For the most part of my high school experience I have suffered due to my own negligence. My inability to comprehend my problems was extremely poor but, I have revolutionized myself to become a man and not a toddler always asking for mommy to do things. It is already the beginning of my last year and I and very proud to say I have improved dramatically. The resources I used have been right inside my head all along, and it took me two and a half years to figure that out. I have crawled my way through high school until finally, I learned to stand
My high school experience has been a very challenging and exciting 4 years. I have learned many things that will help me in life and I feel confident that I am ready for whatever obstacle I may face. High school has defined, shaped my character, and helped me to mature into the young woman that I am
In conclusion, my personal experience with school was nothing like I had expected, school was challenging to me, and a lot of things did not make sense, but through the years a lot of things have made sense.. school has become a lot easier and hopefully I graduate this
I always wanted to get good grades and challenged myself which help me get in the honor role in my two years in row, but that doesn't mean I am a perfect student. As, student going to high school can boost my confidence in the classroom and help improve my average writing skills. In Middle School, I was a part of clubs such as NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) and Service Learning, and being member of these clubs I become a well shape student overall by being optimistic and enthusiasm about school and I was given the opportunity to change the culture of my school and the community. When I am not doing school work, I enjoy playing sports, especially football, so by going to high school I can continue where I left off. Being a student with right mind set, transitioning to high school won’t be I hard, but I know I will have new challenges I have to overcome and long lasting experiences which will get me ready for life.
High school. I never realized it would bring so many changes. As I walked on to campus my freshman year, my mindset was the same as it was in eighth grade; the young are invincible. And although I was excited to come to high school I had many fears. Would the classes be too hard, would I make new friends, what could I become involved in, and most of all -- what if I get lost? All of these fears eventually subsided and I, along with all of you, found the right classes and the right teachers. We all made new friends. We all got involved in something. During my freshman year, innocence surrounded me and although eventually my shell would crack, not until this year have I broken through. This year I decided that it is time to soar on my own. Graduation is the beginning of a new flight for all of us, the class of 1997.
My educational journey has been like a roller coaster. I have been in the worst spot of my life time. Where I hate going to school but, also think about my father education. My career goal is one of my most important in my life to better myself than I am today tomorrow I will better than yesterdays.
Having spent twelve years of my school life in just one small red brick building, the years tend to fade into each other. But the year I remember most clearly and significantly is my senior year of high school, where I finally began to appreciate what this institution offered to any student who stopped to look. Before, school had been a chore, many times I simply did not feel motivated toward a subject enough to do the homework well, and seeing the same familiar faces around ever since I was 5 years old grew very tiring soon enough. But I began to see things from a different angle once I became a senior.
