The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Computer science Engineering which together with practical course works reinforced my interest. ‘Research is creating new knowledge’, as said, since my childhood I was always into experimenting on things, even the smallest radio set in my home was a huge miracle to me as a child. Exploring into the parts of it was great learning. So thus my interest towards technology has begun, which made me participate and win various Science fairs conducted during school level. I stood FIRST in the SIR C.V.RAMAN test as an outstanding student in Science. Being one of the best students in my school I have scored 77% , which was one of the listed topper’s grades, in my X Standard. Due to the same affinity towards Mathematics, Science and research in general, I have opted for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as my major subjects in high school (XII th standard), where I have scored the top marks with 91%. I have secured State 340 Rank among the 250,000 students in the Common Engineering Entrance Exam (EAMCET), it’s the only Entrance Exam for admissions into the undergraduate colleges in the state. The reason why I want to follow a computer science career began when I was fifteen. Starting from a math-specialized student in secondary school, I riskily registered for informatics as my major in high school. Surprisingly, from simple lines of a primitive program to concise algorithms for solving complicated problems, everything was appealing to me right at the very first time I learn programming. They unveiled a whole new world behind the familiar interfaces of computers, explained many things that I used to ambiguously call “technology”. Enlightened by such amazing subject, I decided to spend more and more time for computer-related activities. I started training seriously for competitive programming contests, translated and wrote academic articles about algorithms for informatics department’s books. I also founded a small group of students whose members share the same hobby of computer but interest in various subfields. Throughout three years in high school, those activities not only sharpened my knowledge and enhanced my social relationships, but also gradually brought up my fervent love for computer. I first experienced the intense emotion of proudness that a creator would feel when his creation works, in my second semester of undergraduate studies, when the wall follower robot that I designed and built using simple logic gates worked like a charm. Digital data from the three sensors on the robot were providing the robot with sufficient surrounding information for it to follow the wall autonomously, without human intervention. Since then, my interest in building intelligent systems has continued through my education, projects and work experiences.
