The different values between Chinese families and American families Chinese families and American families have a big impact in their child’s life. Chinese families as well as American families’ value education. American families like what money can get them, namely American families at times want the lavish life, so they think that they are rich. Meanwhile, American families work hard to provide for their families. Due to the high cost of children’s education, parents take out loans to pay for bills and emergencies, if the family does not have enough money. American families spend money on things they really do not need. Even though Chinese families view money in a positive way they know the value of money because they use it wisely. Mainly, Chinese families use the money to buy necessities for their family. For example, they buy important things for the household like groceries, appliance and so on. Chinese families also help other family members that need help financially. When Chinese families help each other out it helps them budget their money. Chinese families do not spend money they like to budget their money and save money for a rainy day. Most cultures like china sometimes really do not have to think about money because most get help from their family and some Chinese families know how to practice good money
