Have you ever thought about volunteering? Why is volunteering for a non-profit organization a good idea? How could being a volunteer benefit you? Volunteering your time can be a good thing. Not only would you be helping others, but you’d also be helping yourself. I understand that in life some people make bad choices. Unfortunately, these choices often lead to ending up in jail or in trouble with the law. Volunteering can be a form of rehabilitation to help these kinds of individuals get back on their feet. Showing good character after making a mistake in life can help change someone’s opinion of you.
The final way that volunteering is a good idea is it helps you be a better role model to the younger people in your life that looks up to you. The best feeling is knowing that the people that look up to your are getting the best example to admir. Having kids or being an older sibling is a good example of why you should want to be a good role model.
