The value of higher education is the simplicity and ease of complex tasks or ideas given to an individual and society as a whole, creating unique machinery that may not have otherwise been obtainable, enhancing individuals’ socialization and status, and is crucial for government structuring. Higher education can positively impact a society and nation by instilling ambition and knowledge needed to participate and make informed decisions. It can also positively impact an individual by making them better suited for job opportunities and opening doors that may have otherwise been closed to them. Without higher education a uniform code or structure would be difficult to successfully implement because lack of understanding of different cultures and societies. As higher education advances, so will our accomplishments in everyday life, allowing new possibilities and building onto what we can already accomplish making it easier, faster, and more uniform. Higher education also extends quality of life giving us more advanced transportation, better medicines, household utilities, and machinery capable of complicated tasks. We can thank higher education for extending life through pacemakers, surgical equipment, x-rays, and more advanced tools.
