Should abortion be illegal? Abortion may be caused purposely and is then called an induced abortion, or, less frequently, "induced miscarriage". The word abortion is often used to mean only induced abortions. A similar Pro-abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. An abortion, which occurs spontaneously is also known as a miscarriage. Ancedure after the fetus could potentially survive outside the womb is known as a "late of termination". In a massacre that is almost unspeakable, more than 56 million American babies have been murdered in the United States since Roe v. Wade decided in 1973.

To begin with, Abortion causes psychological damage. According to afterabortion.org,"A study of the medical records of 56,741 California Medicaid patients revealed that women who had abortions were 160 percent more likely than delivering women to be hospitalized for psychiatric treatment in the first 90 days following abortion or delivery." women after getting an abortion were hospitalized for psychiatric treatment. Also from afterabortion.org, "Since many post-abortive women use repression as a coping mechanism, there may be a long period of denial before a woman seeks psychiatric care." Many women experience a period of depression and denial as a means of coping from abortions. So after an abortion, many women have problems with their health. Furthermore, Life begins at conception, so unborn babies are human beings with a right to life. As stated by National Right to live, "For more than 100 years, medical science has known conclusively that every individual's life begins at the moment of fertilization."
