We were huddling around a campfire in the open darkness of the night. It was the only thing that brought us warmth in the brisk air. A light shot up into the air, crackling until, boom, an explosion of colour which radiated light. It was the night of all nights, which celebrated our national identity. I glanced across the fire, and caught a glimpse of Hazel. Her eyes were mesmerizing, crystal clear and blue as the depths of the ocean. ‘What more could you want? We're living the life free from everything and anyone who could tell us what to do’, said Hazel, as I awkwardly shifted my focus elsewhere. She had the voice of a god damn angel, angelic like and pure. She picked up a half empty bottle of gin, and within 10 seconds she had downed the rest of it. ‘I am …show more content…
In a sky full of stars, a shooting star shot across the utter darkness of the night, like a diamond glistening in the sky. A place of the unknown and mystery lies beyond that shooting star. The moon was a glowing disc which shone over the horizon. For a moment, my mind drifted away from the amidst chaos which surrounded me. ‘Oh my god, oh my god you guys, these mosquitos keep attacking me!’ Jessica whined through her high-pitched voice. ‘Can I ask again, who was it that thought it would be a good idea to bring the girls to the exclusive boys camping trip?’ Toby moaned. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew out the bonfire, left us in complete darkness. Everyone went dead silent; the sound of a pin drop could be heard. Everything was in the darkness, with only the glow from the full moon to distinguish each other’s faces. ‘What if there are wolves? And drop bears! Wait, is there such thing as drop bears? God knows what else is out here’, Stacy cried as she crawled closer into the group. ‘Jesus Christ people, calm down, it was just the wind.’ ‘Is anyone going to do anything about this?’ Hazel

Buildings are no longer in sight, only green pastures and large farms. Rising into the black sky, the moon illuminates the darkness. Chattering on the bus becomes noiseless. John leans forward as the bus stops. “We’re out of gas!” the driver shouts. John’s breath accelerates as he slowly turns his head away from the window. A light flickers in the corner of his eye. Exhaling deeply, John thinks it is just a star. But the flicker vigorously grows and becomes red. A girl screams as she points towards the growing flames. Wanting to look, John clenches his fists and turns his head towards the glass. Roars of the flaming torches crackle in his ears. White hoods march forward with their pitchforks and rocks. “You don’t belong here!” shouts a member of the
For my movie analysis, I chose to watch Oceans Eleven. This movie had been recommended to me by a friend previously so I decided this assignment would be the perfect opportunity to watch it. The whole plot revolves around a group of men who become a part of a plan to rob the three most profitable casinos in Las Vegas. Initially, it is Danny Ocean who comes up with the idea.
It was getting dark. The sun that once shone so brightly above was now retreating back into its house beneath the sky. We left the roads and ventured into the woods. While Elizabeth and I were setting up our tents, Adam left to gather sticks for a campfire. When he returned, curiosity filled his face as he showed us a leaf. But, it wasn’t just any leaf, it was a glowing one.
“well this isn't what I'm used to” I said, grabbing a box of beer and setting it off the side and took them out the box “ so Percy who was that girl you were talking to ?” Tyler asked I frowned “ that was my ex girlfriend Annabeth. She wanted me to come back home with her, but I told her I couldn't ” I said
Caspian's POV I stood behind a bush as I watched my brother kissing the mortal woman. It was always the do and trash conception, but he has been with that woman for months, I would be lying if I said there were no sparks. Seeing this made me disgusted, I never imagined Farouk ever falling in love, especially with a mortal. Stepping into the sunlight, away from the bush, I shouted at him.
The day of brother and sister night dance at Faith’s elementary school is where it all went pandemonium. I, Jayvion, woke up in bed and got up to dress in my suit and tie. I took a shower and did my hair to look impeccable for the dance. I ambled into the kitchen and saw my ostentatious little sister waiting for me. My mother, Feanika, walks in as she comes from work as a waitress.

I walked down the hall of Raymond Academy. I walked down until Faith grabbed me by the arm. I spun around and she dragged me into the nearest room. "What is going on?" I asked when she closed the door. "So? Are you going to tell me where this came from." She asked holding an envelope up. " Niro, what is that?" My voice sounded tired and confused.
A glow of shimmering light displaying a much peaceful glow of trails with a long stream of light, that seemed to shine longer than it has ever before. I occasionally with wonder have questioned as to why does my neighbor have darker skin and lighter hair than I? Why is my hair darker and skin much more lighter? One rare instance I questioned my hair color, which closely resembled the color of a squash, my grandmother would bake pies that would be the finger licking deliciousness for all the town people. In turn, they would always bring beautiful sunflower arrangements for her. As the sun changed it's course, laughter from children I was able to hear words joyfully as a mockingbird to the turkey, ha, ha, you bobbed that wrong, let me show you
Pandemonium has been unleashed into the world. It appears a fathomless pandemic has broken out, danger potentially reigning the world. One in two born on 28th June 1989 around the world have unknown rare genetic defects that challenges our subjective perception of homosapiens. Lanyon Cooperation is having apocalyptic visions of the human race that this unprecedented phenomenon has brought about. We have overcome wars, famine and many political debates, but this year is a turning point in history, as we are all expected to witness the beginning of a global catastrophe.
Imagine you are trapped in a tank of deep water. You tread water for a long time. You start getting tired. You aren’t sure how much longer you’ll be able to keep your head above water. You try to stay afloat, you try to conserve your energy and pray someone will come along and help you.
As night comes, the moon shines in its prime, without a hint of any clouds indicating a beautiful clear, night sky. Dismissing the fact that a terrible downpour of rain, washed upon the land. The ringing of crickets could be heard, indicating a peaceful moment. But front within the village of Phelea, murmurs could be heard from all around, the courtyard filled with people from the small village, a sudden gathering seems to be irregular to them. As they too were surprised to hear about the sudden call to attention.
