Deer hunting is something people all over the world have done for many generations. Many enjoy hunting deer, and others don’t care much for it. Every true hunter has his or her own tricks for the game, but in order to kill a deer, you have to find the basic places they travel through every day. To begin with, you have to figure out where the deer are bedding. Deer tend to bed in areas where it is very thick and can’t be seen. The reason for this is because if they are in really thick brush then any predator has to come into the thick brush to get them. That will be very loud, and the deer will hear this and run. Deer also like to bed in bottoms. They do this because anything that comes into the bottom has to walk over a hill to get to it, and more that likely the deer will see it. Deer tend to follow the same path to their food sources everyday. In early season the best thing to find is a white oak tree. These trees have big green acorns that deer seem to like more that anything else, but they don’t produce acorns every year. So, you have to go out and scout, which means go and find a white oak with acorns on it and lots of deer manure under it. If the tree has deer manure under it that means deer have to be coming to that tree to eat. In late season deer are struggling to find food so you can help yourself out by making a food plot. A food plot is a field with things like corn, wheat, peas, rye grass, or clover that deer come to because they need food. This is a way easier way to kill the deer if you can make a good food plot. So, try to do this if you want to find where the deer are
