Recommended: The effect of the internet on society

While technology continues to grow, communities across the world use devices differently based on the abilities they want them to perform. Some communities prefer the simple information based web services inputted by humans, while some are for the advancement to the point that computers can generate new information on the web. This change from the concept of Web 1.0 to Web 3.0 can affect the way different parts society function through daily activities.
As technology allows us to access the web anywhere in the world due to the different devices society possess, the idea of accessing the internet and the world-wide web continue to be interchangeable. However, the idea of the internet and world-wide web are not mutually the same. The Internet refers to the collection of interconnected computer networks. This networking infrastructure connects computers together on a global scale, allowing any of these computers communicate with another computer, considering they are connected to the internet. With this being said, the Web is described as information-sharing model that is built on top of the Internet that facilitates communication between people and computers as well. (Slideshow) While the difference between the Web and the Internet is distinguished, one can now understand the evolution of Web 1.0 to Web 3.0.
To comprehend the direction where the Web is heading along with the impact it will have on different communities, it is necessary to define the various stages of the Web evolution. ...mation they are looking for. All in all, religious groups will have to be more attentive to their webpages, as well as more adaptive to the sociocultural trends in society in order to keep the world intrigued on what is happening with their faiths.
In conclusion, the evolution of Web 1.0 and Web 3.0 has made drastic changes in the way our society produces and uses technology. Although some communities prefer the idea of simple web browsing style Web 1.0 brings, some communities are embracing the change Web 3.0 will bring to the world-wide web. Certain communities, such as religions, should use the changes to impact their following and inform their interested internet users on the different beliefs in their faith. This way, they can gain more followers based on their beliefs, and keep the community interested on what religion is doing to impact the rest of the world.
