Breakfast is clearly a critical meal in our everyday diets and health. Eating breakfast aids in our nutrition by influencing our mental, physical and emotional health. There are many different healthy breakfast options that can kick start your day. In the morning breakfast immediately raises our energy level and starts our day off on the right foot. Start your day right by simply eating a good, nutritious breakfast! With all of this being said out of all three meals breakfast is by far the most important. Your body performs better when glucose levels kept at an even level and when you wake up in the morning your glucose level is low. Eating breakfast will help even out your glucose levels and improves your body, emotions and performances during the day. This is most true when trying to do visual tasks. So the real question is what would a single reason be for skipping breakfast? There are many theories out there on what is said to be “good” reasons to skip breakfast. There are many diet restrictions that hold people back from eating a good breakfast because they think it goes over the calorie intake for the day that they can have. When skipping breakfast in a diet usually just allows the dieter to think that they can eat more, possibly unhealthier options for lunch and supper or even some snacks during the day that are unnecessary. For these reasons, not one is good enough to count in skipping a meal. Just because breakfast doesn’t increase your metabolism does not mean that you should then automatically skip it.
