The Civil War was one of the biggest turning point in America’s history. The Civil war determined the rights of all peoples rights in the United States. The Civil war also redefined who citizens are today. It made us realize that everyone should have the same amount of rights as everyone else has. Many Americans felt it was their needs to fight. The north felt it was their right to help fight for no slavery and for their rights while the South felt they should keep slavery because they wanted the workers so they can help clean around the house, work on the fields for the slaveholders and also so the slaveholders can make profit off the slaves for doing lots of hard work for them.
