Sojourner Truth’s speech, Ain’t I A Woman?, uses low diction and rhetorical strategies to cause an uproar in the crowd and to get them wanting their rights. Truth was known as a woman with no formal education, yet gave an astounding to speech to an audience. This marked an amazing part of our history as it gave women the chance to stand up for what they believed in and inspired the women of the world to fight for what they believed was right.
