Last year was my sister’s senior year, as many of you may know, most people take a trip during their senior year typically referred to as a senior trip. In my family, it is a fact that my sister loves Disney, and when I say loves I mean is completely obsessed with it. So, as you may have inferred by now, my sister chose to go to Disney World for her senior trip. Like almost any kid, I was more than excited when I found out I was going to Disney. “I love Disney,” I said “Me too,” my sister said “Are you ready,” my mom said “Yes,” my sister and I said simultaneously When it came time for the trip we packed everything up, and loaded it into the car to begin our trip. We drove all day long and then realized that we need to find a hotel to …show more content…
The next morning we packed up and hit the road again. We ended up arriving at Disney around two pm and decided it was too late in the day to go to one of the major parks. This is when we went to Downtown Disney here we walked around and found a restaurant called Planet Hollywood, Here we enjoyed a delicious meal that ended with a triple chocolate milkshake. The glass was coated with chocolate and candy that somehow made the milkshake taste even better. Finally, we returned to a hotel room at the resort and got a good night's sleep before going to our first big Disney park of the trip. Our first day was Hollywood Studios, home of the famous Hollywood Tower of Terror ride. Of course I rode the tower along with other amazing rides such as the Rockin Roller Coaster and Star Wars simulator. Here we ate at a restaurant called Mama Melrose from this restaurant we got tickets for reserved seats to probably my favorite part of Disney… Fantasmic. Fantasmic is a water, firework, and Disney character show. Even after such an awesome day, my family wasn’tr enough. I needed someone else to talk to. Thank god my friend from Josh is coming in three days. Afterwards we returned to our room to get a good night’s …show more content…
It was safari themed and it had characters such as Mickey, Pluto, and Minnie. After the meal we watched a musical /play about the Lion King. Once the show was complete we got to ride the Jungle Safari ride. Here we got to go through Disney's safari and see the animals they keep there. After getting a snack and something to drink, we continued to traverse the park before arriving at Expedition Everest. This is one of my favorite rides, it makes it seem as if the tracks are broken and then, all of the sudden you fall backwards down the track. Even though the ride was fun, I still felt bummed out because my mom and sister rode together on everything. I just can’t wait until I get to meet up with my friends in two days. The last ride of the day was Dinosaur, on this ride you are put into a “time machine” and taken back in time to the
While entering Islands of Adventure I heard this very loud roar and didn’t know where it was coming from, so I kept walking forward to try and find out and on my left I see this big green roller coaster roaring as it did flips and turns so I followed in amazement and I said aloud, “I wonder what is the name of this ride”? Someone answered me and said “this is the incredible hulk; how don’t you know about this ride”. As I walk through the park I noticed that there are different sections of the park such as superhero land, the lost continent, and wizardly world of harry potter. My favorite one had to have been the lost continent because of this new ride called “The Reign of Kong”. The Reign of Kong was based off of the movie King Kong, but while in the ride it made you feel like you are really in the jungle trying to escape from the dinosaurs and Kong comes and kills them then blood splashes over everyone. After walking around the park all day we got ready to go back to our room it began to pour down rain while walking back to our
The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
My all-time favorite ride at Disney World was located at Animal Kingdom. Expedition Everest has got to be the best roller-coaster in the world. That ride gave me a buzz of energy just like if you went bungy jumping or skydiving. The wait was always at least an hour, but my clever mom always got the fast passes so we didn’t have to wait. I would get in the
After walking past those, my family and I walk under the giant globe. It is an enormous structure and walking under it made me feel like an ant. It was white and had the appearance of a giant disco ball. There was a line to go inside the globe too. This was a ride called Spaceship Earth. It felt cold and cramped walking into the globe. When I got on the ride, it brought us back in time. Anyone could choose their own language, so we thought of listening to it in Japanese. This showed cave men, the Romans, the Egyptians, people from the 1800s, and people from now. This ride also showed us what we would do in the future. It was a funny feature, where it showed ourselves flying in hover cars and using other futuristic inventions. That was the end of the ride after that.
Once I woke up I called Alavee to make sure he was awake. I'm glad he was because he saved me some time by calling Priya and Rigo to make sure they were getting ready to go. About an hour and a half later we all met up in the school parking lot at about the same time. The exception was Priya who had to take extra time to bring the camper which we hardly used in the end, but it was still better than trying to cram into one car to sleep. Anthony brought his new jeep so we thought it would be a good idea to hook the pop-up camper to the jeep and take the jeep on our journey. Now that we were ready and had double-checked everything, we were ready to begin our journey. First, we were well stocked with food and gas we were underway for our trip. We headed toward the interstate, and turned left on I-90 west.
I have traveled with my family many places we've been to Florida, Maryland, and Detroit. I have been to Florida on many occasions because I have family who lives there. I've been taking family trips to Florida every since I was like six years old. I've also went to the beach and Disney World. Every time we would go to the beach, I would only put my feet in the water because I'm not a good swimmer. Yet, It was really exciting in Disney World because of all the rides and the games. I got a chance to take pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, etc. I really enjoyed that trip to Florida, in 2005, when we went to Disney World, and the funny thing is that my family and I were all dressed the same.
Today was my sister's birthday! We went to Animal Kingdom, Which had a really fun ride called The Legend Of The Forbidden Mountain, where you go up the coaster normally and drop backwards. I screamed really loud! After a while, we got lunch. We went to a restaurant in the park, where I had the best grilled cheese of my life. We spent a few more hours at the park and left at dinner time. That night, we had dinner at a really nice restaurant. I got steak and mashed potatoes and we left after eating for about an hour and went back to our resort. When we got back we went to our cousin's room and watched
Disney World is where a lot of families travel during special occasions like Christmas, birthdays, New Year's, thanksgiving, Valentine's day, the fourth of July and even easter. This amazing place has been around for many years and has allowed people to have fun while staying there for a short amount of time and make memories off of it that they will take with for the rest of their lives.
My mom and I rode The Hulk ride together I loved it. We rode the amazing spider man ride again. We head up to Harry Potter Diagon alley And David Got Snape’s wand as a souvenir. I was SO jealous, I kept wanting to play with his .We got butterbeer, which is a famous drink in Harry Potter. It was so good, you could even get on frozen like a slushy. It was SO good I loved it. we walked through san fransokyo and then on to New york city to eat at Finnegan's Bar and grill. My mom and I ride Hollywood Rip ride rockit. We all rode the TRANSFORMERS ride which was SO cool. After all that we went back and went to
Everything seemed to be going smoothly that morning. Dad loaded the luggage and packed the cooler. He even packed the extra pillows. My family was very happy as we prepared for our trip. I was twelve years old and my brother, Jobie, was ten. My dad had told us for years about his first trip to Disney Land in California when he was a young Marine.
When we got there, there were already a lot of people there. We parked the car and headed toward the entrance. Kendyll and I really didn’t want to go see all the Disney characters, so Mom and Lindsey bought us tickets to go on the rides. Jared and my mom took us on the rides while Lindsey took the other two kids to see the Disney characters. After awhile, we all met up together to have lunch. After lunch, we all just stayed together. All we really did was walk around Disney World and look at all the characters. Once Anyka and Reidyn got tired, we thought we should probably head back to Jared and Lindsey’s house. We were all tired when we go their house, so we had super and went to
When we got settled into our hotel all I wanted to do was go to the theme park and begin to have fun, but my dad had said it was too late to go. Even though we had agreed not to go to the theme parks we still decided to go to Downtown Disney for dinner.
The day started out great, it was my first day at Disney World and my group had big plans for that day. Our first stop was in Hollywood Studios. This park was the coolest park in my opinion, it had the Rockin’ Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Toy Story. The Tower of Terror was a stomach dropping rollercoaster. It felt like butterflies in your stomach twittering around. For the two minutes I was on the rollercoaster it made me feel like I was in a spaceship blasting off every time we went up in the air. Next after the rollercoaster my whole group got really hungry, so we went to this famous cafe. Kelsie and I shared some chicken nuggets and then we had to get drinks, so she grabbed the drinks and I picked the table. I must have a really bad sense of tables because some how out of all the tables I sat at there were birds sitting up at the ledge, well at the time I didn’t know the birds were there. I sat my tray down and next thing I know I hear a plop right next to my tray. A bird pooped on the table! It was hilarious. Kesie walked out and I told her what happened.
The second I stepped foot onto the amusement park’s property, I could feel the magic swirling all around me. As I walked through the crowds of people young and old wearing Disney apparel and Mickey Mouse ears, everything seemed so enchanting: the cheerful music, the twinkly lights on all of the buildings, and the stores that could have been from my favorite Disney movies. Walking along the streets, I took pictures of everything around me because I did not want to forget a single detail; I took pictures of the vibrant yellow, red, and pink flowers that lined the streets, the buildings with intricate details and designs, and the massive roller coasters that glided so swiftly on their tracks. The air was filled with heavenly scents of sweet churros, and I had to get one; it was delectable. Everything at Disneyland seemed perfect and like it was out of a movie. Even as I was about to leave, I got drawn back in; spectacular, bright, colorful fireworks started bursting right over my head, and I could not bring myself to go. My first visit to Disneyland was truly enchanting and magical. At the time I thought no other vacation could
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
