The United States is a free country, and people think the right to bear arms is a basic right that every American has. This second amendment adopted in the Bill of Rights since 1791, it gives every U.S. citizen the right to keep and bear arms. Since this right got adopted, there are a lot of controversies around it, about regarding how, where, when, and why people should have the right to bear arms. This is an issue that most Americans should care about because it is about everybody’s safety. Some people say that because of people can carry gun freely, the ratio of crime and violation keeps rising. People always think gun is an evil thing that is only hurting and killing, but people do not know that it is the people who control the gun is evil, not the gun. American citizens should continue to have the rights to bear arms, because its benefits are significant to everybody; people use gun for protection, defense themselves from other threats, and also for many recreational activities.
Having a gun in every household for protection purpose is always a good thing. People who have a gun in their house always feel safer in their own house. People can use gun to protect themselves from theft, who sneaking in their house and steals all their properties. Sometime, theft is not just stealing the stuffs from people’s houses, they could do all kinds of stuff and threaten to their victim's life. If the owner has a gun in his house, he can prevent a lot of threat that could happen to them, or maybe just protect their life. Some people might ask why don’t people call the police. It depends on what situation that the victims are at. What if the theft is in front of their victim’s room with heavy that can take the victim’s life in just a sec...

If that is what they want, they should value their life, too. If a criminal tried to kill them, in this situation whose life is more valuable? No one going to say they would die instead of the thief. To have a gun in those situations to fight back for survival is needed. People must support second amendment, if they care about their life and safety.
Gun is a very helpful tool and men had discovered. The right to bear arms will help the citizens of the United States get familiar to gun easier. To this modern world a right to bear arms is the basic right that every citizen must have. The government can be stricter about how people can get a gun, but remove second amendment is an unnecessary.
