In both stories they both express how the parents did not like each other. In "Pyramus and Thisbe", the book states "Forbidden by their parents to be wed, because of their parents' rivalry" (947). In the prologue of Romeo and Juliet it states, "From ancient grudge break to new mutiny" (Prologue.3). The Montagues and the Capulets were in an ancient feud. This concludes how in both stories the parents both had feud with each other.
