In 1898 a man named Morgan Robertson penned a book titled "Wreck of the Titan" about a luxury liner deemed unsinkable that was going too fast in the North Atlantic in April and hit and iceberg killing most everyone on board due to lack of lifeboats.
14 years later this fictional book would play out in real life exactly down to the name, with the wreck of the Titanic; but this time it would have major political implications. Some of the wealthiest men in the world were on that ship and some were opposed to the Federal Reserve and central banks.

The Titan was the largest craft afloat and the greatest of the works of men (800 feet, displacing 75,000 tons), and was considered "unsinkable".
Shortage of lifeboats
The Titanic carried only 16 lifeboats, plus 4 Engelhardt folding lifeboats,less than half the number required for her passenger capacity of 3000. The Titan carried "as few as the law allowed", 24 lifeboats, less than half needed for her 3000 capacity.
Struck an iceberg
Moving too fast at 22½ knots,the Titanic struck an iceberg on the starboard side on the night of April 14, 1912 in the North Atlantic 400 miles away from Newfoundland. Also on an April night, in the North Atlantic 400 miles from Newfoundland (Terranova), the Titan hit an iceberg while traveling at 25 knots, also on the starboard side.
Sinking
The unsinkable Titanic sank, and more than half of her 2200 passengers died. The indestructible Titan also sank, more than half of her 2500 passengers drowning. Went down bow first, the Titan actually capsizing before it sank.
Soon after the Titanic took off, it sunk. It took 3 hours to sink and there were only enough lifeboats for less than half of the people on the ship. The Titanic sunk in the Atlantic Ocean on April 14th and 15th, 1912.
The wreck of 1975 remains the most mysterious and controversial of all shipwreck tales heard around the Great Lakes. The legend of the Edmund Fitzgerald is surpassed in books, and film and media only by that of the Titanic. Its mystery even led Canadian folksinger Gordon Lightfoot to write a ballad about the vessel, “the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” which in turn inspired popular interest in the story and the ship.

This book provides a story about the Titanic and includes story’s from passengers, that were aboard the Titanic the night it hit an ice berg and sunk. An article about Ismay and the Titanic says, "The Titanic designer Thomas Andrews was pushing for 48 lifeboats enough to carry everyone on board. But Ismay said no to the 48 lifeboats and only put 20 on board." The article also says, “ Because of his choice it puts some obligation to stay aboard the ship and take whatever comes.” If there would of been 48 lifeboats then so much more lives could of been saved. But Ismay for whatever reason only put on 20. The 1500 other people that died on the Titanic could of survived if Ismay would have put 48

The ship, R.M.S Titanic, has been popular several different times in a little over 100 years. The first time in April 1912 when it first sailed for North America. This great ship was said to be unsinkable. Many errors led to the major tragedy of the Titanic, including the life boats were not all there or filled as much as they should have been, the ship tried to go full speed to break the iceberg, and the Californian ship did not respond the Carpathia had saved the rest.

In every story, past or present, fantasy or reality, there is the good and there is the bad. These “forces” are expressed through antagonists and protagonists. More often than not, these antagonists and protagonists collide. In the well-known novel, A Night to Remember, by Walter Lord, there are quite a few antagonists. One that is prominently presented to the readers is society as a whole. The author wrote, “After all the Titanic was considered unsinkable” (Lord 64). As expressed in the quotation, the infamous vessel, the Titanic, was essentially known for its “unsinkable” reputation. But, it is simply impossible for a ship to be unsinkable. People are gullible. Little to there knowledge it wasn't the weight of the ship they had to worry about. It was traveling across the Atlantic Ocean in the dark with many icebergs. The builders of the ship took extra precautions in securing the safety and welfare of its passengers. It exceeded the legal requirement for safety boats, which were sixteen. Devastating news that this colossal ship everyone thought was indestructible had sunk from a collision with an iceberg. But the question is, could the terrible tragedy have been stopped?
