Hunting
You hear a crunch in the leaves and branches. You look around, and then lock eyes with the creature in the distance. Everything around you goes silent. You feel your heart pulsing in your chest. While you place your finger on the trigger, you take a deep breath and slowly exhale, and pull the trigger back. You hear the band echo through the woods and feel the sting in your shoulder. The game has now begun.
Once you make the decision to hunt, you will need to figure out what kind of hunting you will be doing, what equipment you will need, the cost, requirements, restrictions, and the dangers.
Making the decision to hunt could be influenced by family and friends, or it could be an alternative way to get meat, without having to purchasing overpriced meat from the grocery store that normally has been injected with hormones …show more content…

The starting cost for hunting can be expensive, because of the firearms, and other weaponry you may prefer. “After you have your weaponry, the average cost is $300-$500 a year. However, if you catch a good amount of game throughout the year, you make your money back or more in meat.” (Golding). After you have educated yourself in the process of hunting, it is now time for you to look into the things that are required.
In order to hunt, you have to have a hunting license. In order to get a hunting license you must take a hunter safety course. Once you have completed the hunting safety course, you can go to Walmart or a weaponry shop and buy a hunter license. For each season, you have to buy tags for what kind of game you plan on hunting.
