Going on a road trip with my family means the world to me. We drove to another state during summer vacation, and it was by far the best road trip I have ever been on. My family and I were able to go to many fun places. We ate so many exotic and delicious foods as well. Yet most importantly, I spent time with my family and their friends. It was the day when my family and I went to California for our summer vacation. It was the day before we left our home to go to California. I was so excited for our time to spend some out of the house and go to another state. However, before we went to bed, we had to pack a few things. I jumped out of the car with my two sisters and ran to the bathroom. When we left the bathroom, we walked back to the car. We saw that our dad was still putting gas in the car, so we went into the store to buy some sweets. I bought “warheads” that said extremely sour, and a bag of chips called “baked with fire” that looked like they would taste really hot. When we purchased our food, we walked back to the car. As soon as we started driving, I opened my bag of chips. I was so scared that they would be extremely hot. For that reason, I also bought a bottle of water. I opened it before I took a bite out of the chip. Luckily, they were not hot at all! I grabbed my sour candy and tasted it. My face changed so quickly; that I started to squint my eyes and point my lips. I could not take another bite of it because it was really sour! Eventually, I was not hungry anymore. Probably because I ate my whole bag of chips and a sandwich. When I finished eating, I was feeling exhausted, so I took a long nap. I woke up, and dad told me that we only needed to drive for one more hour. While we were driving through town, we saw a row of trees on fire! It was so smoky that we could barely see the street we were driving on. I felt scared for life and terrified that we might crash. Now we had to make the long trip back to Mrs. Tina’s house. It was such a long day, and we were extremely tired so we decided to skip dinner. We took showers, put on our pajamas, brushed are teeth, and went to bed. Over the next few days we went to the beach, had picnics in the park, went bike riding and skating, and took a trip to the mall. We had such a fun week, but now it was time to go home. So, we thanked Mrs. Tina and her family for being so generous and welcoming to us. We told them that they would have to come visit us so we could return their kindness they showed us. So, we gave them hugs and kisses and we headed back to Las Vegas. I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, our friends, and play all sorts of games. My youth pastor pulled out of our church parking lot at three am in the morning loaded down with a bus full of twenty four teenagers including me. We were off at last head to Colorado Spring Colorado, little did I know, our bus was going to fall apart this very day.
When I was younger my parents would take my sister and I to a spot near Pine Point around the same time in August for the end of our summer vacation. It was something that we could look forward to all year and we knew that no two years would be the same. There were new restaurants that would open up and also places with different types of activities such as a multilevel arcade. It was not the differences that I would look forward to though, but the things that were exactly the same. The camp site that we would stay at was always exactly the same as well as the quality time spent with family. No matter what the weather was like, nobody was worried, because just the time away from home secluded with your family was enough to keep us happy. The day that we moved the decision was for us to drive to Miami instead of flying because of the amount of belongings we wanted to take with us. We rented a UHaul truck and took our SUV as well. I remember the drive was really fun we were all laughing and having a great time. Even though the drive from New York to Miami is really long it did not feel that way. As we were approaching Florida all I remember was the feeling of butterflies in my stomach and the joy in my parent's face.

Going on school field trips that last overnight are fun but going and staying for more than one night is even better. Being able to go with your friends to a different state without any teachers that are from your school. Getting to meet new people that have the same interest in agriculture. Also meeting new people that now have an impact on your life. The trip to Denver was to go to the National Stock Show. It is the biggest Stock Show in the United States. Going for a school trip was to be educational and learn about what the shows look like and how people set up for visitors to view.
I stood at the end of the driveway with a bag of clothes and my little sisters by my side. My dad pulled up, we got in the truck, and we drove about 10 minutes until we got to his shop. This would seem like a normal day, but things were different this time. We weren 't at the shop to ride the four wheelers around or to play basketball in the garage or to mess with the pinball machines. There was a gloomy feel about everything around us. Even though I didn’t say anything, I knew things were changing.
I was just boarding the plane to go to Arizona. We were going to Tucson, Az to visit my grandparents. We always have fun there. We almost always go swimming on their pool because on average, the temp there is around 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Just because it’s hot, doesn’t mean that it’s gonna ruin a great trip to Arizona. Moving weekend. These two words have defined my life several times since my pilgrimage to Colorado. My first few years here were chaotic, unknown, and completely spontaneous. For someone who likes control, a concrete plan at least two weeks in advance, and a generous helping of consistent routine, my first days, weeks, years, where I was but a nomadic, semi-"homeless" wanderer were met with the most challenging and illuminating moments I have yet encountered.

When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains.
It all started with just one road trip that changed my thought about how road trips could be a horrible experience. Over the summer my family and I were going on a road trip to Canada, but many things had happened to us. Before we head to Canada, we had to go to the airport to pick up some of my family members that came from India. So on a friday night, around twelve o’clock we went to the airport to pick them up. When we got there we meet each other and then left the airport. That’s when the road trip started.
Throughout someone’s life they will go to many places with their family, friends, another relatives. I have been on a few vacations that have made a lasting impact on my life. But one of the most memorable vacations I have experienced was with my cousins. I went to goa beach. Most of you probably don’t know about that beach but it is a very famous one in south India. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. The beach environment was enlightening. I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone other than my cousins. We had a great time on the ocean sands and swimming in the ocean everyday made this vacation unforgettable.
Watching the sun set was a perfect way to end the day. This is mainly due to my parents filing for divorce around the same time. My sister and I were caught right in the middle of it and couldn't do anything about our parents divorcing. Traveling is still my favorite hobby and will be till the end of time.
