Every day I work tremendously hard to be noticed by both other scholars and my teachers. Now that an opportunity has come, I am truly excited to demonstrate and live by the values of The National Junior Honors Society. I hope to further expose and show both my dedication and want to join arms with my community and my peers and I wish to continue to work with passion and fire to shape the world into a brighter place. It proves to me that I have accomplished my goals and worked to the best of my ability. In all my years as a student I have always tried to do the my best to get the highest grades. I would be an excellent choice to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society because I show service, leadership, character, and citizenship. It is an amazing opportunity anyone is lucky to have, and I am more than happy to accept it. I love helping people, being able to feel accomplished knowing I put a smile on someone’s face. Being in the National Junior Honor Society, I’d love to share my ideas and thoughts on how to make the world a better place.
As a student at Northvale Public School, I grew up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in the homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
I would be a good fit for the Youth Advisory Council because of my dedication, hard work ethic, and leadership abilities.
National Junior Honor Society as a nation premier organization started to recognize outstanding middle-level students. NJHS is a way to honor students who have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of excellence in the areas of the five pillars which are, scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. This organization that was started in 1929 is a great opportunity for me to show my family and teachers how hard I work to get this far. I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary student who are being considered for this program. This organization the so many great things in society, and knowing that I could potentially be a part of it and play a part in futuring the impression that the organization has already made. I am a determined student, and will do anything to do my absolute best even when something hard is thrown my way. I have always hoped to be a part of something big like National Junior Honor Society, and I hope that this will be my chance to be a part of something big. In my essay I have provided several reasons why you should consider me being on National Junior Honors Society.
I believe that I would be a good representative for the National Junior Honor Society because I have great ideas and I am focused on making our community a better place. If I become a member I intend on holding fundraisers that can help people and animals who are in need. I think that holding campaigns for those less fortunate is very important because not only does it engage the public, but also it could be life changing for those in need. I also feel I would make a good representative because I am a straight A student and I am a hard worker. I work hard for what I want and I will not let anything get in my way. In my opinion, to be a member of the NJHS, one must possess certain qualities such as compassion, kindness, dedication, and motivation to make the world a better place, and I indeed have those qualities.
William Jennings Bryan was quoted in saying, “Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is matter of choice. It is not something to be waited for, but rather something to be achieved.” Bryan and I see eye to eye, for I also believe destiny is something you control. I want to be accepted into the National Honor Society so I can indeed steer my destiny towards a favorable pathway. The NHS can provide me with yet another way I can help others through numerous service projects. In addition, it will teach me to be a stronger leader and allow useful experiences to prevail. These experiences will be put to great use in future jobs and projects in the school or in the community. Lastly, NHS will be placed into an array of sun beams to happily bask in, because I will not let anyone, including myself, slack off. These polished characteristics will hopefully help me in the future by gaining acceptance into a top college and creating plentiful complimentary job opportunities.
The National Honors Society is a privilege reserved only for those who show scholarship, leadership, service, and character these are all traits that I show on a day to day basis. I show scholarship characteristic by always working hard in class and trying to succeed. I show leadership by helping less experienced people in everything I participate in. Character is shown through, my favorite sport, football. I also show service in that I am always working on helping the community through my help.
Thank you for considering me for induction into the James Monahan Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. I have been looking to join this society ever since I heard about it and have been trying my best so I can. I believe that I demonstrate the qualities of service, leadership, and character and would be a great addition to the National Junior Honor Society.
The chance to be considered for the privilege to join the National Junior Honor Society is an honor. Being part of this program will be useful in many ways; including being helpful for academics, developing leadership skills, helping to build character, working with other individuals as a team, giving back to the community, and above all it will prepare for college.
I would like to be invited to join the Scripps chapter of National Junior Honor Society for several reasons. Primarily because I would like to help out the society and Scripps. Second I have good leadership, and lastly, I have built a good character over the years and I have a good citizenship.
