Music continues to be a colossal part of everyone’s lives and how we express our feelings and emotions. However, music is defined by sounds that are sung by voices or played on musical instruments. This definition alone does not create a full understanding of what music really is. Sounds with rhythm do not make the music but the emotional connection and the feelings that come along with it, do. As the audience listens to the songs that are played, they come to realize the connection they experience with it. This simple song then becomes music. Without this unexplainable bond and the craving the audience experiences with the song, music is not present. Making someone feel something, positive or negative, and aiding them to relate to their unforeseen emotions or worldly aspirations and goals creates music. When an artist’s begins to construct a new song, they choose the audience they are approaching and how they want to connect with them. If these songs did not connect with the audience in a different level then it wouldn’t be music. Therefore, people would not listen to it. Music creates entertainment but while listening to each song the audience relates to it in some way. Relations do not just have to deal with similarities but also the opposite ideas and thoughts one has. While a person disagrees with these opinions or ways of life, they begin to create their own based on what they have heard. After tuning in to this music, and a further analysis of music is made, and a new opinion of themselves is created. Music tends to create an amazing outlook on people’s lives, helping them realize the goals they want to achieve.
