Recommended: Peer pressure leading to conformity

Away in the misty mountains there were a group of nine heading to mount Vesuvius to melt a ring. You may know the story but this story is about two kids who live in the misty mountains their names are Snape and William bit most call him Will and call Snape S. They're known as the disturbers of the people the reason for that name is because they road a shed down a hill and into a house which they are currently stuck in but let's start from beginning. Will and S were very nice boys but got into trouble here and there like when they built a Burmese tigger pit and go the nabber stuck in it. It was is fault for coming into our front yard they said but they still got grounded for a week. The cabin was abandoned but had a lot of interesting trinkets that looked like unfinished machines with gears and springs sticking out of mechanical arms. But what interested Will the most was lever that was high up on the wall he couldn't reach so got on S's shoulders he was almost there when S slipped. They felt the whole cabin shake then it started to move it was sliding down the hill they went to go out the door but realized it had closed and locked so they were stuck inside. Out of no were they herd a big crash and stopped S looked out the window and realized that the were a in there nabbers house on the third floor. Luckily for them he wasn't home and was out on a walk he just started so they would be safe for a few hours. But they had bigger problems they were still trapped inside the cabin and from the fall the floor was broken in the cabin and the house. Will and S knew that they had to get to the other side of the cabin so they could call out of the window. Sadly the hole covered the whole floor so Will put a mechanical arm to make a

    “The only real nation is humanity” (Farmer 123). This quote represents a huge message that is received in, Tracy Kidder’s, Mountains Beyond Mountains. This book argues that universal healthcare is a right and not a privilege. Kidder’s book also shows the audience that every individual, no matter what the circumstances, is entitled to receive quality health care. In the book Kidder represents, Paul Farmer, a man who spends his entire life determined to improve the health care of impoverished areas around the world, namely Haiti, one of the poorest nations in the world. By doing this the audience learns of the horrible circumstances, and the lack of quality health care that nations like Haiti live with everyday, why every person has the right to healthcare no matter what, and how cost effectiveness should not determine whether or not these people get to live or die. Two texts that also argue this idea are Monte Leach’s “Ensuring Health Care as a Global Human Right,” and Darshak Sanghavi’s “Is it Cost Effective to Treat the World’s Poor.” Leach’s article is an interview with Benjamin Crème that illustrates why food, shelter, education, and healthcare are human rights that have to be available to everyone. He shares many of the same views on health care as Farmer, and the two also share similar solutions to this ongoing problem. Leach also talks about the rapidly growing aids epidemic, and how it must be stopped. Like farmer, he also argues that it is easier to prevent these diseases then to cure them.
