MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
* Develops the annual department strategic plan presentation for the Mental Health department in conjunction with the Director of Mental Health.
* Prepare and present the quarterly Mental Health performance report to the executive leadership team.
* Develops executive briefings for Medical Center leadership regarding Mental Health programs or new initiatives regarding homeless Veteran outreach activities.
* Organizes data in preparation for oversight/accreditation site visits: Joint Commission, Office of Inspector General (OIG), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and VA specific oversight groups.

* Assisted the Chief of Mental Health in developing the workforce succession plan and revised organizational chart.
OPERATIONS
* Ensure all facility work orders are submitted and completed for Mental Health departments.
* Serve as Chair of the Mental Health Environment of Care subcommittee, which performs bi-monthly walkthroughs of all Mental Health office spaces and evaluating safety risk.
* Participate in activation meetings for Mental Health construction projects.
* Work closely with housekeeping contractors in order to maintain a safe and clean environment for Veterans.
* Utilize Six Sigma Lean strategies to identify and develop process improvements for the care line.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
* Directs the department budget in order to meet program operations.
* Assist Chief of Finance in reviewing the care line obligations and salary expenses each pay period.
* Approve all purchases for the care line and manage 24 departments accounts.
* Manage the purchase of equipment and ensure all appropriate accounts are funded, obligated and adjustments processed
