The social media is one of the most common means of communication and pretty much of knowing anything and everything around the world these days, and it is growing very rapidly. It changes and affects each person in a different way, or ways. Some may argue that social media has a bad influence on children and young adults, while most people see that the social media has a more positive effect on them than a negative one. Social media is basically the new way of keeping in touch with everything and everyone, and of even strengthening bonds between each other. This essay will argue that social media has improved communication between people, and has also improved the means of communication between them. First of all, social media has made it possible for people, or even families, who live far away from each other to communicate easily. Before, people used to communicate through writing letters and having them sent through the mail, which would take a lot of time and communication could not be done fast enough and constantly, however, now communication is easily done through social interaction networks on a daily basis using the Internet. Head of marketing at FreshNetworks, Jo Stratmann, states that indeed social media has completely transformed the way that people communicate with each other, and in a positive way, and is improving internal communication between people and even companies and workplaces (Using social media to improve internal communications, n.d.). Secondly, the social media has made it easier for businesses and business people such as bankers, business owners, brands, and even celebrities to communicate faster and to get things accomplished. Through social media interaction networks such as Twitter, Instagram, What... ... middle of paper ... ...s, online texting applications, or social media sites or applications, like Twitter or Instagram.
