Governments In Star Wars V.S. Governments in the Home
In the movie "Star Wars" their exist many different forms of government.
In this essay I will be comparing those forms in the movie to the ones found in the home. I will be starting with the most basic form of government and working up to the most complex.
The most basic form of government is anarchy, The total absence of government. In the movie the best example of anarchy is Yoda, living by himself on Dagohba without the interference of any one apart from self. Jabba has a dictatorship over a small group of people and has a territory in which he has sovereignty, and therefore has all the qualities of a state. He has total control of his area including without having to give to the will of the people he governs. he also has control of the making and enforcing of policies which is the role of government.
The Imperial Empire is also an dictator ship as stated above but with a couple minor differences. At one time there was no such thing as the empire but through many battles the emperor gain control through the use of force, establishing his government as the governing body for the universe. In the early days of the empire there was an imperial senate that shared powers with the emperor in a federalist type of government where the different planets each sent their own representative to the senate. In an effort to gain more control over the universe the emperor destroyed the senate by assassinating its members.
As a result of this the power than fell to a small group of generals who elected
Darth Vader as there leader and second in command much like a parliament would.

At first they may limit some of their freedoms, and then if they continue to do the things that the parent deem wrong they might get all of their freedoms taken away. The most complicated of the governments in the "Star Wars" movies would be that of the Rebel Alliance. From what you see one can conclude that the rebels are a confederacy born with the sole purpose of over throwing the
Imperial Empire. The reason this is the most complicate in my mind is that they must get many different planets to join and contribute money and people to the cause while trying to avoid the emperor. Also they must elect a leader from the many different planets to head up the alliance. An application of this form of government could exists when the neighborhood could ban together to protest a city ordinance or building project. Where the sole purpose of the group is to stop the city or come to a compromise that settle the matter, but when the matter is finally resolved the group will disband for there would be no need for it anymore after accomplishing its
We often wonder about the importance of government. Is it necessary? Does it really benefit society? The answer is yes. Many countries have diverse forms of government such as totalitarian, monarchy, theocracy, and much more. The United States of America specifically runs a democratic type of government. A democratic government gives power to the people. Citizens over the age of eighteen are allowed to elect leaders based on their individual opinions through voting rights. The main purpose of the American government is, to protect people’s inalienable rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness as our Founding Fathers intended.
In this level, we are switching from individual behavior to group behavior. A group is define as two or more individual, interacting and interdependent who are initially coming together to achieve particular objectives (Stephen P.Robbins, Timothy A.Judge, 2014). There are two types of group which are formal group and informal group (Stephen P.Robbins, Timothy A.Judge, 2014). Group can bring a lot of advantages to all the group members. For instance, work as a group is able to generate positive synergy through coordinated effort that allows organization to increase performance.

That is a significant variance in range, but no matter how it is evaluated or what numbers are calculated, the fact remains that false confessions are a reality. Why would an innocent person confess to a crime that she did not commit? Are personal factors, such as age, education, and mental state, the primary reason for a suspect to confess? Are law enforcement officers and their interrogation techniques to blame for eliciting false confessions? Regardless of the stimuli that lead to false confessions, society and the justice system need to find a solution to prevent the subsequent aftermath.

There are two alternatives to the Reid technique being used to interview suspects. These do not use coercion and manipulation to get confessions. The first is the PEACE Model, which is an interview technique that is more ethical, and the other technique is Cognitive interviewing which is used by police as a memory technique used to enhance the retrieval of their memory.

Additionally, we cannot rely on this process of interrogation to assess whether a person is innocent or guilty because there is the chance that these old procedures could incite people to plead guilty and hence provide false confessions. To an extent, it is unbelievable that given the literature and material available on this topic, there have not been any progress in trying to change the way in which investigators interrogate people. The United States government system is very interesting and complexly designed. The state and federal government is a mirror of each other when it comes to the generics of the executive branch, legislative branch, and judicial branch, however, internally the state government has major differences on how the branches are conducted. Pressure can force people into doing deranged actions. When innocent people plead guilty or make incriminating statements the main reason is because they feel guilty or know more inside information. There have been many cases in which an innocent person was secretly blackmailed or forced into pleading guilty. The mental state of a confessor is also vital in knowing the truth. Confessions from juveniles is usually unreliable because most of the time they don’t understand the situation completely and they can also be manipulated easier than an adult could. Mentally capable adults confess when they’re innocent for a variety of reasons, exhaustion from excessive interrogation,a belief that they could be released if they confessed,or that they truly do feel guilty. Pressured confessions are less common, but there have been cases. False confessions are a hazard in trial cases and can also give an innocent person a cruel sentence.
