Generation Z is determined to change the future and is at an advantage over all previous generations to do so. This group is those born between the years 1995 and 2012, whom are currently ages 4 to 21. Statistics show Gen Z is extremely mature for their age with the lowest levels of drug use, alcohol consumption, smoking, and teenage pregnancy in decades, as stated by JWTIntelligence. This demonstrates that they are future orientated. Generation Z is unified, diverse, realistic, and technologically advanced, making them the generation with the power to impact the world. It is a known fact that a unified group is much more successful than one that is divided. Generation Z is the most open minded and diverse generation history has seen so far. Individuals are more accepted for who they are and differences are celebrated instead of criticized. Of 1,000 respondents to a survey done by J. Walter Thompson Intelligence, 82% stated they didn’t care about sexual orientation and 67% had a friend of a different sexual orientation. Furthermore, racial diversity is much more apparent today. According to the United States Census Bureau, “Between 2000 and 2010, Texas joined California, the District of Columbia, Hawaii and New Mexico in having a "majority-minority" population, where more than 50 percent of the population was part of a minority group.” …show more content…

Gen Z makes up a society in which people are more accepting, and a person is judged more for their character and integrity than their sexual preferences or the color of their skin. Further, they have seen and can learn from the mistakes of past generations to reconstruct the future. Lastly, they have been provided the tools to solve the world’s biggest problems. Because they have this capability to impact the world, it is each member of Generation Z’s responsibility to use these advantages to provide a future worthy of generations to
