Personal writing is a writing style that allows you to express your own feelings and thoughts. It gives you control of creativity, which is why this type of writing style is my favorite. The point of view in personal writing papers are usually written in first-person and has informal language. Although personal writing paper don't usually contain headings, cite quotes and references, you should still include a thesis statement and introduction, so the audience can have a complete understanding from beginning to end. Persuasive writing is a writing style that seeks to convince readers or an audience to act or think a certain way. The language use is very important for persuasive writing, so you must make sure the language use is appropriate. A persuasive paper should have a clear well-structured introduction, body, conclusion, and a clear thesis, and you should try to establish things of interest between yourself and your readers. This is the type of writing style I have most difficulties with and is the least favorite of mine. Expository writing is a writing style that deals with factual information, it conveys information or explains a subject to readers. It is the writing style that is used the most in colleges, it is used to expose you to new subjects and to allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the subjects. When using the expository writing style choose words that have clear descriptive and unemotional meaning, it should also, be objective, unbiased, and the writer should not reveal any opinions or judgement of the information. Expository writing generally use a third-person point of view, and it should include a thesis, paragraph organized in chronological order, and you must support your statements.
