Our lifestyle today has completely changed from what it used to be in olden times. Our

days start and end throughout using technological devices such as computers, I-pads, high-tech

machineries, cellphones etc. All of which are considered to be direct cause for the new change

that we have overcome as society. Things that before were thought to be impossible now can

be done in no time all because of robotics, Internet, high-tech machineries etc… This

advancement in technology that is proposed by humans to help them is showing its results

remarkably. Although, new technologies that are introduced every now and then are helping us

make our life easier, in the same way they are destroying our future by making us dependable

and taking our jobs ,increasing health problems and privacy problem as well.

Technology in simple terms of definition means to use knowledge as a tool kit in order to

invent devices that would make our task easier in an efficient and accurate way. As we know,

anything overly used is not good; similarly if use technology in a proper way it turns out to be

good, but if we totally rely on it then it will harm us in multiple ways. However, the sad truth is

that we have made ourselves very much dependent and now it’s hard to imagine our world

without technology. From tube lights, to hand mixers, to electronic cooking stall, clothing

washer and drier etc… pretty much everything are creations of different types of technologies.

Going forward, in an editorial “When Droids Take Your Job”, McAfee asserted that,” the list of

things humans are demonstrably better at than computers is shrinking pretty dramatically.”

...reason for making one’s life miserable by

taking away job from humans, increasing health issues and taking your personal life to the

world. All together it’s tearing down humans in every way it can. We can’t get rid of the

technology since it’s part of our daily life but we can save our life by using the technology to a

limited extent. The purpose on invention of technology was meant to make human’s life easier,

faster and burden less. Technology has made life a lot easier on us and I am not trying to say

technology is bad because, I personally would have a hard time functioning without it.

However, there comes a point when we need to set boundaries on how much technology

“intake” we consume because, not all good things stay good. There are negative side effects to

technology as you can see and we need to be aware of them in order to control it.
