In the National Football Leauge there was a football player named michel vick and he did something really bad. He was just living the high life as a NFL football player and that suddently ended quickly. In the 2001 and 2002 season he was playing for the Antlanta falcons as their starting quarterback. He was ranked as the number one quarterback for those two searons. Even after his record breaking season in 2002 he was then released because of his actions.

Animal shelters are overflowing with dogs; this is a well known fact. For some dogs, this stay at a shelter is a quick stop, and for others, it may last a lifetime, but for the purpose of this essay, the dogs spoken of will be thought of at no-kill shelters. Two breeds find it increasingly hard to catch the eye of their potential adopters: Those two breeds are the Pit bull and the Chihuahua. Why would these two breeds have such a hard time being adopted? Pit bulls and Chihuahuas are greatly overlooked in shelters, and this essay will compare and contrast the things that keep these dogs in shelters; such things are physical appearance, common stereotypes, and behaviors that will either lead to adoption or deter potential adopters.
When the National Football League first decided to draft college players in 1936, it was always a possibility that a player would not meet the expectations that the team had set for the draftee. These players that don’t play up to potential, are now commonly known as draft busts. Bigger draft busts tend to happen in the first couple of rounds of the nine round draft because the bar is set much higher for these top picks than it is for the latter picks. These players often sign big contracts and don’t pan out as players, getting cut from the team or not playing much time on the field. This hurts the team financially, and economically, when thinking of opportunity costs. After the players still have the money, and frequently get into trouble with the law with offenses dealing with drugs, or other illegal activities. However, not every draft bust breaks the law; some have other career paths as football analysts, or get away from football completely and find other jobs outside sports.

It has been said that dogs is man's best friend, and because of this, it makes them great companions. These two breeds, the Boxer and the American Staffordshire terrier fit very easily into family life. When an owner tells his dog that he is a good boy, the dog happily wags its tail. Then, there are those times when an owner has to discipline his dog, the dog, then creeps away with that sad puppy dog look on its face. According to Jill Viers, "a dog will love you unconditionally; it will be there until the end. Doesn't it deserve the same when it is truly man's best friend" (Viers) Both of these breeds the Boxer, and the American Staffordshire terrier; have similar, but different in their ancestry, appearance, grooming and maintained; it is what makes both of these two breeds so desirable.
There are many different dog breeds and they all have different temperaments, which is partly why many dog lovers are sometimes more particular to one breed than to others. Although not all seemingly unique breed behaviors are breed specific, most importantly aggression.
