Wake up with determination go to bed with satisfaction. Determination is the act of deciding or as the act of coming to a decision or of fixing or settling a purpose. Determination is a noun. Some synonyms are persistency, bravery and courage. Determination is a very important part in everyone's life. There is no one that in perfect and that has never failed at something in life. Some people have things that are easier than others. When you fail at something in life which as you may already know is bound to happen. I am Using this because people are trying to make her drop out of the white school but she was determined to stick with it and do what is right for everyone. In Warriors Don’t Cry Melba and eight other black students were going to enroll in an all white school. They were not wanted in school by the whites so they were treated poorly by the students and some of the teachers. The white kids could do anything they wanted to the African Americans in their school. “Bombs away… I looked up to see a flaming wad of paper coming right down on me… I hurdled my books up at them.” Melba was at school and not bothering anyone but some white girls in the school thought she was bothering them. They felt that they could drop flaming wads of paper on her if Melba wanted she could have curled up in a ball and let it happen, but instead she was determined to get out of this sticky situation. Melba was so determined to not let the white girls push her out of the school so she through her books at them. “Early the next morning a boy began to taught me as if he was assigned the job… I just kept to myself as I walked down the hallway.” Once again there is a white person that thinks they can do whatever they want to do. Melba was not about to allow a boy ruin her day at school and make her day miserable. She was determined to go to school and to stay at school.
