WHAT IS CHICK FIL A? Chick Fil A is an American fast food chain which specializes in chicken sandwiches. It was founded by late Truett Cathy in May 1946 and is headquartered in College Park, Georgia. It operates more than 2,200 restaurants, primarily in the United States, where one of the locations is in 3704 Call Field Rd, Wichita Falls and another operating inside Midwestern State University. An innovator from the start, Chick-fil-A was the first restaurant to pair shopping and eating by opening its first restaurant in an Atlanta-area mall. One of my favorite commercials to watch is the Chick-Fil-A commercials. Their commercials are very ironic but at the same time interesting and entertaining. The main purpose of their commercial is to persuade an audience to go and buy their product or maybe convince an audience to come back again and buy more of their product. They are able to influence their audience through the use of rhetorical elements. Rhetorical elements include: the rhetor, discourse, audience, and rhetorical triangle. Their commercials don’t necessarily target one particular audience, they incorporate different ideas into their commercial to target different audiences such as families, and football fans.

I conducted my experiment earlier this week while at the new Chick-fil-a for roughly forty-five minutes. It was a busy lunch rush so many customers or employees didn't bother to notice me while they enjoyed their visit. There seemed to be a common theme amongst the employees and the store as well as the customer’s interactions with each other. Each person’s life is as deep and complex as my own and their actions represented interesting results.

There are many fast foods restaurants that sell chicken nuggets such as: Wendy’s , Mcdonald’s ,Burger King and Chick- fil-a.These four different restaurants all have different tastes to their nuggets. Now in my opinion ,chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-a are the best . They have great chicken and that is more flavorful. One other difference from chick-fil -a and these other fast foods restaurants is there chicken isn’t processed. The chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection in the restaurant. Therefore, the appropriate structural design is very crucial. The performance and the efficiency of the organization can be enhanced through specialization and appropriate division of labor. Foodcorp used a matrix structure but the management style of Foodcorp seemed to be a one boss arrangement. Information and decisions directly comes from the top. This challenge is built to improve the world. Many organizations are not built off of loyalty. Often times people put in years of experience yet to be laid off or fired as a part of budget and staff cuts. I have seen companies only find terminations as a result to solve a budget crisis.
