Chick-fil-A Evaluation The term “fast-food” is usually distinguished by food served very quickly to a customer by drive-through or carry-out. Fast-food restaurants are highly associated with low-cost and malnutrition foods with brief consumer and employee interaction, and below average cleanliness based on restaurant health inspection reports. Chick-fil-A has changed the usual perception of fast-food restaurants. Rather than burgers and potato fries, Chick-fil-A serves chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Eating at a restaurant that smells or looks filthy can be disturbing. Many other fast food chains don’t prioritize cleanliness, but Chick-fil-A goes above and beyond requirements in regards to a sanitary eating environment. Experiencing good food in a clean atmosphere is essential to the customer’s experience at a restaurant. The biggest downfall of Chick-fil-A is the fact that on Sundays they are never open. Chick-fil-A is family owned restaurant built on Christian beliefs that discontinues all business operations on Sundays. Others suggests that the fact that Chick-fil-A reserves a day out of the week for religious purposes over the temptations of monetary value is rare in the food industry and therefore is highly respected. Chick-fil-A has maintained its moral values that people have learned to appreciate, even though some groups boycott the practice. Chick-fil-A continues to dominate sales beyond other fast-food restaurants even while only operating 6 days a week. Chick-fil-A chicken is so great tasting that they have had record breaking sales.
